Does this involve a lot of hard work? I know some Photoshop but I never worked animated images.

Cutting out your character from the original screenshot will take you some time to get smooth edges. And the background too, depends on how you want it. Getting the finished Sig into an animation is prolly the fastest thing.
There are tons of tutorials on google maybe you can find something that meets your expectations.

Find a place in Requiem where the background/horizon is in one color, and then record. In most video/image editing software there is usually something called Color to alpha, Color key, Chroma key, Color separation overlay, or green screen. Use that function to remove the background color and replace it with transparency or something else.Okay
