Spotlight change is next week! What town and dungeons would you like to see get the spotlight treatment?

 

New: 

Return of the 2013 St. Paddy's day quest. Check with O'Riley in front of the grocery store in hugel to get started. 

 

Classic Token Exchange: Seasonal quests will reward medals which can be turned in for elemental gears. When you complete the quest you 35 Medals which can be used to purchase rewards including the gears mentioned above. 

 

Bug: 

Hunting Cap was not properly tradable, this will be fixed this week.

I think parts of Juno are still permanently spotlighted (spawns at least in/around Magma). But it's really hard to tell what is/isnt anymore.

 

Are you going to be removing the Valentines Day quest also?

Morroc Spotlight includes :

- Pyramid

- Ant Hell
- Dimensional George.

I have an idea for the server, let me know what you think!

 

Her name is Janeway's sister. (final name and form TBD)

She could be like a cross between a Taekwon mission and Renewals Daily quen.

 

First Janeway's sister chooses a random non boss monster and gives out a kill count quest. (# to be determined) This quest could be the same for everyone (or not) and maybe resets after about a week? If it is something easy then it could mean a big boost but if it is tough then it might mean needing to wait for the next weeks monster.

 

The reward would be an item but it would need to be something good enough to enable a novice to the game to potentially catch up to the best players, if the quest was finished enough times. (catch up in terms of gear but probably not skill) Some player input could be helpful in making a reward list for this part. (the quest could have about a 1 day cool down, more or less)

 

Originally I was thinking of something else but figured that the idea could make a good shortcut ladder if a few changes were made and also double as a repeatable quest for anyone who is already at max level.

 

 

 

(For the spotlight question, I would not mind if the Veins spotlight lasted a little longer. The spawn for Sidewinders seems a little low.)

So I can't help but notice that there's some issues with Classic's maptypes / at least one type can be freed up

 

xmas_fild01 / pay_fild_10 and w/e the high orc/orc hero map is - have a crazy unique maptype that brings up pvp circles.

- siegfieds are disabled

- bloody branches are enabled (important! These are the only maps where ppl can use BBs)

Suggestion : Enable BBs on all field/dungeon map types and then you can use this maptype for Challenge dungeon or new pvp/woe mode or w/e

 

 

Hocus Pocus/Abracadabra

- is disabled on dungeon maps and town maps.

I understand town maps, but dungeons? One of the biggest uses of hocus pocus is mob taming. It's usable indoors and its also usable on quest maps (ex: amatsu level 1 but not 2 and 3 (which is frustrating))

- is also disabled in woe 2 but not woe 1 and believe me there is some funky abuse that can come from that.

Suggestion: Enable Hocus Pocus in dungeons, disable it in WoE 1

 

gvg mode pvp maps

Are under the ruleset of non-consumable, which is frustrating, a lot of people like to organize mini gvgs

suggestion: revert them to pure gvg, nobody uses the non consumable stuff. Those people quit.

Ice Cave is located in Rachel, having it for spotlight might be a good idea since it would include Holy Grounds as well.
