There is an issue that was brought up to my attention concerning placement.

 

All entries will be given a score based on ALL three requirements. Failure to do all three, will result in added points to your entry.  

1. That the final answer is Correct.

2. That the whole puzzle is complete ( as my math teacher has said, it doesn't count if you don't show your work ).

3. Time that the completed entry is submitted to the event email. 

 

Number 3 needs clarification.  " Time that the completed entry is submitted to the event email. "

 

You may send in your entry, but for whatever reason you find that it is incomplete or wrong and submit a "fix" or new email with the completed or right entry, the latest time we have for the edit/fix/added work will be where you are placed.  

 

Please remember, for it to be counted as correct it must fall within the 12 hours of the initial puzzle post.

 

I hope that this better explains  number 3. Please ask if there are any questions.

Anyways they will let you change the main prize to a tiara OR crown. Because I dont think I would ever put a tiara on my characters if I win.

Hello Kelly, thank you for the question. We added a "bump Post" because we knew it would be hard for everyone to constantly convert to PST, so by adding the bump post, we knew it would time stamp for everyone according to their personal time, when the contest started and ended.   For me the bump post says 1:12 pm, but for someone else it says whatever their time zone is, and Pandiwi also stated  in the post that there is only 12 hours for the contest, as well as it being posted in the rules. 

 

I hope this clarifies the reasoning for not posting a PST time frame. If you have any other questions please ask. Thank you~

To be honest, I don't know if the bump post is posted at whatever time it states that it's posted. Hahaha! Half the time it doesn't make sense to me,.. =( So I'm not quite sure if I missed the deadline. =( But thanks anyway.. D:

I asked for clarification to this through email and either Tati or Pandy keep saying they can't tell me if my answer is right or wrong....
I'm not asking about the validity of my answer, just the correct way to submit.

This contest is already becoming frustrating.

The rules are way too long and complicated with weird things like signing in and other random crap, then saying if you don't follow out exactly you'll be dqd plus you don't even say if the format is right or wrong. Meh.

I'm very sorry, I reread what you wrote and it was my fault for not giving you the right response.

the sign in, was just to help cut down on typing, new forms of doing a contest can be difficult, and so far everyone has done a great job of following through with us. As for the format, it says to send an email so the assigned address and with the normal things like picture and submitted work, as well as forum name, ign, server. I know that this has been a hassle for people and I personally appreciate that they are helping to work out the bugs in this matter.

no, we are having a cryptogram only for the first puzzle, each day will have other types of puzzles, so where one might not do well in one part, they have the chance to shine in others.

2. Then just email that same address with your answers.

don't forget part a and b of rule 3 and d and e of part 3 of rule 7! If you don't follow them, they won't count your answers and you're dqd ): but you won't even know since they're unable to tell you what you did wrong apparently from what I've read

Still completed the first days, but only to realize it was past the duration :v still a fun contest idea though.

we were going to do the 24 hr. but realized that 24 hours for a puzzle was too long as most people answer it within 2 hours of seeing the puzzle.

You can still enter, remember, there are 7 days to get points, yes, you will get more points for missing or turning in pass the time, but part of it is just solving the puzzle. Please send in your entry so that way we can add it in and you will be ready for the next puzzle.
