1. In the Tutorial Area the Battle Instructor tells me to visit the support of the Class Guild (Lvl 10 ~ 20), what does he mean exactly?

2. I can slot items (Potions) into the Skill Bar, but I have no idea how to get them out, I can drag skills out easily, but this doesn't work with Items for some reason. Can someone tell me?

3. Any guide that tells me what I should do after the tutorial? I know about the Eden Quests, but is there a guide to find more things about what to do and when?

Thanks  :heh:  :p_hi:

1. Just go around the academy classrooms doing quests.

2. To get an item out of a hotkey, drag another item to replace it or just right click it on the slot.

3. Check the leveling guides so you can do some grinding along the Eden Equipment quests.

this is based on chaos aka renewal

1. i suggest talking to all the npcs in that room with the battle instructor then return to the professor, he will tell you to go to the library and pick up a book, you must scroll around to find the book hidden on the top book shelf, he will then tell you to talk to the therapist, (you don't have to do their quests by the way just head back to the professor after talking to them) the professor will tell you to meet the principle which is in the second floor, there are also class npcs on that floor, i suggest visiting the thief class npc so you could complete the quest and equip the manual to level up easier (make sure you sit down by pressing the [insert] key before you talk to lumin at the envenom part (you need to regenerate some sp to envenom 4 porings)

2. i usually drag my skills to the bar to take the consumables out

3. here is a wiki, the game is quite easy to learn but requires some research when you're new http://irowiki.org/wiki/Main_Page

after you advance to your favorate class i suggest you to travel to prontera (the exit to izlude is west, and you travel 1 map north to reach prontera)

Archer, Thief, Swordsman is alot easier to start off with but you're free to choose which ever class you would like to play, Acolyte can be easy too and prefered the most if you like supporting your party, but you can also advance to a monk if you like punching things instead of healing as a priest. Acolytes may be healers but they can play with a combat build and smash things with maces.

find the kafra npc in prontera then warp to payon, near the tool shop dealer (he's the guy in a white dojo uniform with a bandana) you will see a bunch of board signs, click the one far back and get all of the hunting quests, your goal is to complete all the kill quests starting with willows > spores / boas do not go back to the board sign until you completed killing them all. if you complete all the kill quests you obtain eden merit badges

check here for more bounty boards in other cities http://irowiki.org/w...ty_Board_Quests

this is also an important link, eden equipment are superior for leveling your character without any zeny you only have to do it once if you're around lv.12-25 once you reach lv.26-39 you get your first eden weapon which makes things alot easier)

http://irowiki.org/w...uipments_Quests

you can use the database to find monster locations for your quests http://db.irowiki.or...ster-info/1009/ also you can use the navigation tool in game to find certain npcs and monsters. make sure you choose the field that has the most monsters. for example east of payon would have alot of spores but few boas so you would want to head two maps south of payon to finish your first bounty board quest before reaching lv.20.

Thank you for being so helpful  :p_angel: !

Just a few more questions.

1. In the tutorial you learn about refining, socket enchant and hidden enchant. Is this of importance already? When do I need to use those services? The game is good at telling WHAT you can do, not WHEN you should do it.

2. If you want to do all the Eden Quests you have to teleport around a lot (which is quite expensive without the free tickets), should I do this? If so, what is the best way to do this?

I don't know if this is the way Ragnarok should be played, maybe I should only accept the quests for the area I want to go to instead of doing all of them and teleport around like crazy?

3. Not really a question, but I played a lot of more recent MMORPG's and Ragnarok has way less hand-holding and is less linear than most MMO's, after the tutorial it feels like you're being dropped into the world without knowing what to do exactly, which is also a good thing about the game, but it's less friendly for beginners that way. I'm still figuring out how this game should be played, what I need to do and when. Hopefully you can answer the 2 questions above, thanks for all the help :3!

1. yes, you start off with a cotten shirt and it's really simple to complete the enchanting quest, you just have to talk with the cats in the center of izlude for a armor with 100 hp, you should complete this quest as soon as possible and use it until you get your first eden armor

2. for the eden equipment quests, you only need to do it once every 20 level ranges board quests so you don't have to teleport much, you can also create additional characters and store the free teleport tickets earned through tutorial if it bothers you. I don't find the eden board quests at lower levels worthy these days considering the bounty board quests give superior experience. - you don't always have to teleport to places, morroc is accessable by moving a few maps south of prontera but teleporting does save alot of your time.

best way to travel around when you run out of free travel tickets for bounty board quests is to have a acolyte character with warp portal, you can save upto 3 locations and warp there by using 1 blue gem stone which is worth 400-500 zeny (some locations can't be saved though)

3. yes it is indeed difficult for players to know what to level on, you need to know the monster name and find them, fortunately you can press navigation in game and find where monsters are located in.

i suggested you on my previous post to visit payon and get the bounty board quests next to the tool dealer and start killing willows (1 map south of payon) > spore (1 map east of payon) > boa (2 maps south of payon)

this link here helps you decide where to level but i really suggest you to focus on bounty board quests for the free eden merit badges to trade in for reset stones worth 5m zeny, this is also used for 3rd class advancement.

Thanks again!

I did all the tutorial quests, including the enchanting and refining quests, I just want to know when to use those services after all that, can I refine and enchant eden armor for example? When should I start enchanting and refining my bow (I'm a Archer)?

I'm now doing some Eden Quests in combination with the Bounty Hunt quests :).

you don't need to refine your bow at lower levels, you will get your first eden bow from the lv.26-lv.39 eden quest.

you would want to refine your hunter bow when you advance to a hunter and use hunter arrows for the 50% ranged damage bonus

More questions if you want to keep answering them  :p_laugh: .

I got a Little Poring, but I don't have Apple Juice to feed it. The combination kit was able to make these, but it seems you can't buy combination kits (you only seem to get 10 from a quest)... very confusing. What should I do? Why does the tutorial teach you stuff without being able to do it outside of the tutorial (aka the combination kits are for that specific quest only, so you have no idea how to get Apple Juice when you run out of the kits and you can't buy new ones.) Getting a bit frustrated  :p_sad: .

Also, any way to search through player shops easily? Most MMO's have a simple Trading Post system where you can find stuff easily, but right now playershops look useless with the massive amount of shops without a option to easily search for the item you need.

Back at the Academy, in the same room as the Dispensary Therapist, you'll find a npc up top who will sell Combination Kits. Alternately you can do the Juice quest to make Apple, Carrot, Banana and Grape juice. The first three are available from Fruit Vendors in select cities. The Izlude Vendor has all three. You will find the npc in the middle of the town where the Kafra is location. There are two npc around. One if the Fruit Vendor and the other sells Milk. Note that Grape needs to be farmed from monsters since the game does not have npc selling SP replenishing items.

Ragial.com is the website that records player shops but only for 3 maps. Prontera, the starting area of Payon Town and Floor 2 of Eden Group Headquarters. Just head there, type the item you need and click on the result to get a /where loctaion for the shop. To get there via navi, just type /navi mapname x/y. Ex: /navi prontera 120/140.

The combination kits are sold in the criatura academy by the general store owner near the therapist, it's 30 zeny per box unless you are over lv.20 so i suggest you to create a new character solely for the purpose of buying the kits. if you are lv.20 or higher it will cost you 500 zeny per box.

I honestly don't like feeding pets, or bother using them at all because it's hard to keep them alive due to them losing hunger pretty quickly, i don't find it worth combining the apple juice.

you can use http://ragial.com/ to locate the shop that is selling the item you want for the lowest price range, this site is used by many players for finding out prices. it shows you where the merchant is located on the minimap as well.

About the teleporting issue, when you talk to Lime Evenor at the Eden Group you'll receive some more goodies: Novice Potions, 2 Old Battle Manuals (save those) and Yellow Butterfly Wings that warp you to any city on Rune Midgards Kingdom, use those to move around.

Also, once you turn to 2nd class (I think you must be in low TI level range at least also) talk to Lime Evenor again, she will upgrade your Eden Mark, giving it the ability to warp to your save point (albeit it has a cooldown time) so you can save on Butterfly Wings (or better, use it if you happen to run out on them)

EDIT: Apparently, the Eden Group Mark has the teleportation effect from the start so new characters don't need to talk again to Evenor to upgrade it O:

everything you would normally use as a GX would gain a bonus from EDP. Grimtooth is the only skill I can think of that you might use occasionally that does not get the effect.
