Hi guys, Lv.72 Warlock here.

I started maining this class on the german Dragonica Servers and it was my first class in Dragon Saga. After playing serveral hundreds of hours

i've come to the point where I think this class can't keep up with the others. After reading myself throuh this forum I found out, that I made some major mistakes in my gearing since im wearing Secmathian Set for a PvE Only character, but even with better set effect with for exampe 3/3 Bone Set or 3/3 Chaos i still think I couldn't keep up with the other classes damage output, taking my Lv. 66 Summoner for example. He is dealing like 1 or 2 k less damage with his Aram Gunstaff +5, which is just ridiculous compared to my WL's Zauharant Spear + 14. I know Summoners are quiet OP and probably the strongest class in the game right now, but even compared to classes like Gambits, Shadows, Destroyers and Overlords I just feel like dealing way lesser damage.

I don't think i'll ever be able to farm Elga, even with complete POS Set and Weapon, the Paris Dungeon is risky AF, because if i cast f.e. Blizzard she has like 5-6 second to activate her counter damage shield, which would instantly kill me and I can't come near the speed of other mentioned classes in clearing Kyros. So i get back to my question Is the warlock underpowered? (Or am i just a -_-ty player)

Hope some of oyu can share their experience with the class so far here and maybe tell me what i can do to have more fun again playing my WL :)!

I have a sorcerer main at lvl85 and I dont feel like dealing much less damage than other classes (except x-spam classes). My personal opinion is that sorcerers are one of the best classes to farm mission maps and they do great in dungeons where the mobs are grouped together. Summoners, invokers and destroyers are in another league when talking about single target damage or overall dps, but it doesn't mean they are any faster farming f1 for example. Sorcerers can clear dungeons like Van Cliff and Paris also quite fast, only bosses might take a bit more time. You're right that even POS wont make you able to farm Elga efficiently, but it is possible to solo Elga, it just might take a while. Only summoners have time to farm Elga efficiently.

In pvp it might seem that sorcerers are underpowered at first, because element attack apply only with few attacks. However, sorcerers are great in group pvp and can be really hard to kill if built right. If you enjoy your sorcerer, you could try to enchant your weapon a little bit more and get some movement speed, critical rate and critical damage to get faster clearing times in mission maps. Just my thoughts but I wouldn't change my sorcerer main for anything else. :blaugh:

Sorcerers are basically great all around. Individual skills may deal lower dmg but since you can have so many of them up at a time it adds up to a bunch of damage. Only summoners have insane damage, clerics have pretty op damage, and then there's the rest including warlocks behind that and last in their own category is goons.
