Hey, I was wondering if there is a guide on collecting the POS set items (I have the BDL set required and able to enter the daily galaxy dungeons). All I pretty much need to know is how to get the hearts, thanks

You need to complete the elga hero quests, and galaxia hero quests.
The quests to get the hearts requires you to be level 79.

Could you please elaborate? I don't know where the Elga Hero quests are, and I was told you need Paris ones too. And I've done the Galaxy hero ones.

As for hero quests, finish the Drakos tower ones (til the quest for killing Paris), then follow the quests to Edge of the World and finally to kill Elga. At level 79 you will get hero quests from Crete, in which you show your BDL set to Crete and she gives you the hearts in return. You wont lose your BDL set. Rest of the materials are from Galaxia dungeons.

Was there a prequel to Drakos's Quests (before the "Amnesia" series)?

I don't think so, amnesia quests come up after you reach a certain level, although you won't finish the entire chain unless you are level 70 and above since the last amnesia quest has a level 70 prerequisite.

Yeah that was my bad, already forgot such things. Anyways just to clarify, the quest tree in irowiki is still up to date:

 

 

After the last quest "Fight against Black Dragon Lord Elga!!" the hero quests for hearts appear at Crete, if you have finished hero quests with Galaxia.

when you get the recipe quest for a specific part, does the quest item surely drop when elga is killed or is it just by chance?

as long as you have enough space in your MISC inventory the item will drop for sure after each elga kill
