Hey heys, finally a Lv.1 High Novice and hoping to become a Ranger in a month or two.

 

My gears:

 

Hunter Bow (borrowed) + Hunting Arrows

Fish in Mouth (borrowed)

All Eden Gears

No Accessories

 

Damn. I actually forgot to do the remaining 3 enchantment quests for my Eden Bow 3. I hope I can still do it later on.

 

I am really confused on what path to take even after reading some guides.

 

A.) Auto Warger? seems high agi so maybe it'll be fun and efficient for me to solo with but I read its much, much harder to gear.

 

B.) Arrow Stormer? said to do 1 AGI. Yikes. How bad are these in the pocket? I assume its potting 24/7 or at least way more than an AGI build? I also saw someone mention its useless for later MVPs because they have massive FLEE.

 

C.) Hybrid? Jack of all trades but IDK how much this sacrifices.

 

Also, I read a post that an auto warger is useless with no 193 asdp?

 

I also get more confused with skill builds.

 

Some also told me iRO Ranger guide isn't up to date.

 

They say I should start building my stats and skills while a high archer/sniper because there's no free stat/skill reset after changing into a Ranger. I'm hoping to not waste the free stat/skill reset in Eden as much as possible.

 

I'd appreciate some help regarding these matters.

 

If it means anything, I feel quite nice and relaxed when soloing Magmarings in veins by ctrl+cliking during times outside of Low TI from 95-99. I'm wondering what stat/skill build I should follow so I don't deviant much from that but not to the point where I would be least desirable in a party.

For skill build

all build(but trap build) must get max Arrow storm ,Camo,No limit(and get max fearbreeze on the way too)

 

Auto Warg must max warg strike, warg fang(or teeth may be)

 

Pure Arrow Storm (and may be auto warg too ) must get lv1 Trap research for MaxSP

 

Hybrid must get all Auto warg and pure AS got

 

Take Warg Bite if you like it

 

Warg rider&Dash look little waste since there are many item that can boost your MS

 

Some skill is useful in WOE/PVP but almost useless in PVE/MVP pick them only when you plan to use them in WOE/PVP

 

For stat

Auto warg

Str~30 make you can bring more pots

Agi ~100(rich guy with ton of aspd gear)-120(poor guy with nothing but free hat from ranger quest)

Vit 70+

Int1

Dex100

Luk90+

 

Pure ArrowStorm

Str 30+

Agi 1

Int90+

Dex110-120

Luk 40-50

 

Hybrid

Str 10-20

When you are high archer put most point you have to dex for early leveling but some point to Agi if you want to be auto warg or hybrid,and Vit&Int if you want to be Pure AS

Arrow shower will be your main skill as high archer after you max 2 passive you must max arrow shower so when you are 40+ you can throw some item to lure mobs of groves and leveling skyrocket by its abnormal high exp bounty quest

 

for sniper skill you can always reset it before become ranger just get some main skill max and put other point in your favorite skill

You just have to mora enchant them with agi. Refine don't help you rise your aspd

 

and if you don't enchant your eden bow III yet I recommend to enchant it with plant killer card as you can use it in ranger job quest

I mean enchant It with increase damage to plant

you can use it to clear the way in 2nd test

for sniper skill you can always reset it before become ranger just get some main skill max and put other point in your favorite skill

 

 

 

Would you happen to have any specific Sniper Skill Set just before I become a Ranger so I don't have to do a Skill Reset?

How about you?

 

Do you have any suggestions for a Sniper Skill Progression or most others except, Falcon Eyes, pre-req. skills for Trap Research (Sniper Skill), pre-req. for for Aimed Bolt (Sniper Skill) and Wind Walker.. are simply, almost completely useless?
