and if this is a field mvp and someone else shows up odds are you're not going to beat them.

So even if i go with a Agi/Crit build i won't be able to mvp at all?

well even if they don't have a health pool there still able to get mental strenght right? so with a agi/crit build + mental wouldn't the super novice put up a fight?

If you want to agi-crit kill an MVP, a Rebel is more viable than an SN

SNs are ok for content that are pre-renewal. So WoE TE is actually somewhat viable.
Anything past 101+, it's hard to be a SN. It's actually not a jack of all trade, but rather suck at everything trade. Can't really tank due to very low HP, and MS is very gimmicky. No good AOE, so most eSNs I know do melee aspd autocast build. AB AOE buffs make SN buff obsolete. Fixed cast time in renewal also kind of put nail in the coffin for bolt SNs. On top of that, SN relies heavily on consumables and very gear dependent. It also constantly need a soul linker to equip its gear, which you can't really bring it in past low TI. You can spent 10B on gears, and it still come out worse than 10m geared ranger.
From my experience, I had the best time being expanded super novice is when I was a lvl 99 super novice in low TI. You get free skill resets to do all the cool stuff, and you are actually useful in a party. Gears are not too expensive. You can use lvl 120 gear with soul linker. Enemies don't hit too hard and usually have lower than 10k HP.
Despite having a lot of variety of skills, expanded Super Novice is not really fun to play. It's skill are useless 90% of the time, and you're 100% relying on party to get you to 160.
If you're looking for fun 2nd character, I really recommend rebel. Probably the most fun class I've played in RO lol.

Btw I remember expanded classes experience is bugged at level 99 so you definitely CAN'T stay 99 forever. Unless they've changed it.

The exp bug is still there. It would make a great lvl 99 unlimited mental strength though =)
