Hello, good day! New player May I ask if a puller/tank is needed for parties 150-175? Just want to know if I'm going to able party grind from 150-175 with just high defence and little offence. Never seen(or not seen) parties in bio lab looking for pullers or tank... 

 

Currently, at level 149 with Vit 110/Dex 90 and planning to Vit110-120 Dex120 and Int 100 it at 175. I have different elemental armors(from holy to shadow except ghost) and a variety of race reduction shields. As for skills, only have IB+BB to do damage and spam, no DB

 

I already reset my stats like 5 times(from DB type, agi-crit, physical-hybrid, etc.) but being physical with high vit is my game, not really good or enjoy playing a killer. Being able to survive a mob/random MvP's and not seeing your character face down brings joy to my heart. XD

 

Please tell me if I'll be able to find parties at 150-175 with my build now, what to improve or give suggestions. I don't want to reset stat again, magical stones ain't peanuts :'( will do it again once I turned 175. Thanks a lot!

most bio4 parties require DB RK

Even if you're a good tank, other classes with specific skills can do the job better with lower cost and lower skill, and be more efficient than you. Yes, you can do anything with once class etc, but it won't be as good like those who specialize in it. 

 

Also, why are you high dex if you're not DB type??!?? And farm in Scarabs, it will definitely be faster than looking for a party in Lhz. And please do let them know that you won't be DB-ing. Party lead has got to plan for classes/dmg etc.

Most Bio4 parties won't be looking for a puller/tank, and if they are, they'll most likely be looking for a Sura instead. People expect RKs to solely DB/WDB, so if you don't have these skills it's not likely a party will accept you.

 

But now that there are NCT bounty boards you could possibly join a party there, I'm not familiar with the place myself but I'd imagine class roles would be a lot less restrictive.

I put dex on my last reset, for skill delay reasons. IB+BB super spam!

Go to NCT/Scarabs with IB/BB build. You'll definitely level faster and have more satisfaction xD

 

I leveled my RK till 160+ in Bio4, and got dead bored from the endless DB spamming.

oh, may I ask if my build now

agi 90 dex 100 int 90 vit 110 can be effective for DB for 150-175?

 

If having too much agi for DB build isn't gonna be a problem, will not reset. or should go reset to dex 90-120 int 90 vit 110-120? 

I really wish not reset again already burned a lot of zennies and don't wanna spend WP for KP.

Just saying that its better to have 120 dex and temp boots for better DB Spamming. But i've seen some RK that doesn't have them, albeit rarely.

Coming from AB, I personally think RK is the worst tank ever, especially if he's not potting. Constantly having to heal that 60-70K HP is a nightmare to AB's SP, let alone the time it takes to spend healing that large amount of HP. Whenever I see RK who takes unnecessary a lot of damage, I just put sanctuary on his feet and call it a day. AB usually has much more important things to do like making sure everybody has Sacrement on, Assumptio, etc etc. 

 

DEF gears also don't work very well in bio4 as most of the damage comes from magic users like Celia, and boy the more VIT you have the more damage you take from Flamel Acid bomb. 

 

I'd say reset and do DB RK. Getting to 175 takes quite a bit of zeny. You should dedicate 200-300m for pots, insurance, GWings, BMX3, etc etc.  Doing bio4 without BMX3 and VIP is a huge waste of time in my opinion, unless you really really enjoy the grind of waiting hours for party.
