Hi guys,

I've been looking at mixed cooking and thought it might be interesting to cook one myself instead of buying that 200k 5 minute food. However, the materials are pretty hard to get. For example the Saroma Icetea requires 3 ice pieces for each creation, and those things are honestly pretty hard to find. You probably get 10-15 pieces an hour if you're lucky by tele farming. Freezer doesn't really spawn that much in Turtle island, plus the 1~2% drop rate would make the food mat pretty rare.

Is there some other way people obtain these food / mat?  I hardly see any bots in turtle island, and the way I am seeing these icetea being sold by the thousands every day kind of begs the question where do they come from.

Also how the heck people are selling BMX3 by the thousands? I am seeing this one guy he sells 3,000 BMX every day. Looks like one time people cleaned out his BMX3 supply during the 2x event, but he just instantly filled it with another 3,000 BMX3. I've been constantly buying them a bit cheaper than ragial selling price, but I only managed to buy 1-2 hundreds or so til now. Is there something I am missing here?

People usually depend on the Investment Machine for food materials and other stuff. Depending on the RNG and the amount of zeny you invest, you can make a pretty good profit from it all. That is why you will see people vending hundreds or sometimes thousands of them post War of Emperium when the global message tells them that the Guild Dungeon Investment is now active. Also, people sometimes stock up on the items used for WoE and sell them at a much higher price at the last minute.

I cannot comment on the BM X3 since I don't keep an eye on the market but chances are this player has either stocked a lot of items throughout the years or duped it. If you find one, report it via the ticket system. If their items are legit, they won't be in any trouble.

Edit: BM X3 is from Cash Shop boxes. Some people buy lots of them and stack up for a VIP Exp event. Of course said boxes have a chance of giving you said items. The current box does not have any. The Vending Box inside Eden beside the Shadow Refiner (Floor 2F) also gives them in exchange for 'x' number of certain type of manuals but it isn't a good trade-off unless that month's box has said items that can be changed to a BM X3.
