Once upon a time...  after one of maintance (i think it was... m... february 24) Steam players faced strange issues with FPS drop. It depends on the number of transitions between locations. For example, when travelling from Prontera to the Old Glast Heim (final battle), I get at best 12 FPS, in the worst - 8 FPS. And the issue affects the Steam client exclusively. Disabling Steam overlay does not change the situation. 

Also after closing the game I receive error (screenshot below).

 

 

There is feeling this error is somehow caused by Ragnarok.exe, as it was recently with RivaTuner overlay error (it is related to redrawing of the image). It is enough messages about this problem in the Steam forum (more than 20).

If you need additional information, I can add the DxDiag info and videos with the FPS counter.

I am having a same issue. Same dialogue with you every time I close my client. It's also unplayable laggy. I had to download separate one from the web to play on.

really crap error and fps down, i fix it by ROext, and change priority video adapter in settings to direct3d+hal, becouse they not avalible my gtx740m, only default intel_hd graphics, but with d3x+hal  and window mode i have stable,  but its not panacea i hope, just time exame solution
