Is this char viable at all? I want to have some fun Crafting, Farming, MvPing and PvPing...

I know I won't be able to be the best WS ever with this build... but will I be useless??

 

The plan is to be an auto-attacker crit Whitesmith. Since I want to forge weapons, I can't have enough points for HS Cart Ram, I decided to put 10 in Shattering Strike for PvP, since I'll be in theory a fast attacker/critter.

For stats, I was thinking something about this (pure stats and job/skills bonuses only, no gear):

STR: 79+11

AGI: 80+7

VIT: 44+6

INT: 1+6

DEX: 28+12

LUK: 52+8

 

29 leftover points...

 

With berserker potion I have

180 ASPD with axes

179 ASPD with maces

The ONLY way to forge is 99 dex 99 luk, otherwise it will be just wasted resources. no one wants to forge with 14% success rate

Well. Its not like the chance is that much higher by being a pure forger.
From my stats im losing what? 11% chance compared to a 99dex/99luk?

Another question, so I don't have to create another topic:

 

What's the real use of Max Over-thrust? If my reading is correct, it doesn't work with HSCR right?

 

So what's the point? I mean, the only reason you would not HSCR is if you don't want to spend money, so it makes sense if you ctrl+click if you are poor...

But when you Max Over-thrust you'll spend money anyways on your ctrl+click so why not HSCR anyways?

Max overthrust has two uses outside hscr:

1. As you explained its very beneficial for ctrl click, especially when partying as it, unlike normal overthrust, only works on the smith him/herself so you avoid breaking other people weaponry.

2. The mod it gives weighs very generously on skills outside of hscr, such as the physical autocasts of rofl and such other nitty gritty stuff physical.

Yeah my bad, I got confused, shattering strike is the buff that doesn't apply to HSCR...

 

So yeah, Max overthrust is required for a good build, thanks guys
