see this is what im talkin about they give druid beez and dont even change it to the correct attack power O.O wtf. cant use sword, axe, bludgeon, wand, staf. just more wtf.

 

cooldown is crap. damage is crap. ALL DOT ARE CRAP.  dam thing needs to be fire totem mechanics(duration cd per lvl).  srpap/2 sec.  can skill crit.

 

if u really think about it half the skills in the game that are mele phys are probly nerfed due to using lrpap. ^^ u know the ones that seem underpowered...hit 2-3 times like commies aoes ^^ where only the attak power of the skill is applied and if u crit with it u only get ur scad applied. ^^

yeah man i agree scaling is messed up with alot of skills.  the problem is the huge jump in power from all the new gear.  skills havent been scaled up to meet the new standards of 30k hp.  changing these scalings though would just lead into the issue of way too much damage unless they changed scad and cad to be affected by resists and defenses.  with the current meta building 100% CC or SCC then stacking pure cad/scad its going to be hard for them to balance skills without first taking a look at how damage is calculated.  heliums probably having a hell of a time with this lol.  my druid has almost 3k base SRPAP in inferno.  adding 3k to the base of bees and allowing them to crit would be devastating to 9 targets haha i would love it! even with my meager 800 or so scad and 50% scc..  maybe scaling for the dot itself would help, but i donk know. that would increase the damage and allow resist mitigation possibly?

imagine ur srpap in a fire totem tiking every 2 sec. u say all the skills for druid need 3k more damage added, but why do that when u can add 1 skill that adds that amount extra spam every 17 sec. ^^ these are the things that are not being considered when ppl try to decide what a class needs. can one thing fix the class? not ten because deep down inside its a 1 man show fixin all this crap.

 

thats the reasoning i decided "fire totem mechanic" srpap beez skill fits druid so much. 17.5sec CD

What would fix inferno and make it much more better for pvp : Double slash hitting twice, burning dash to reach enemies. Done.

idk, i dont think the totem mechanic fits though.  it would just be a physical property RoB.   i like the punch activation.  it creates interesting plays like dashing doomguard aoe 6 sec stun spend 5 seconds swapping to inferno then BEEEEEE PUNCH! and the you die instantly.   but hey it was SO worth it.  i like the shorter cooldown idea.  i still think being able to switch forms at will from doom to inferno, or vilovy, would be one of the best quality of life buffs. i forgot.  most melee classes have a gap close of sort.  scud  charge the commie rush skill(dont know the name dont like commie) prots dont need one they just spam heals and walk right up to you lol.  inferno needs some way to either close gaps or break cc.  not cc immunity but a cc break.  or a cc break with a moment of immunity like 3 seconds.  slow immunity is also an option.  but not having a gap closer means you have to live through double damage AoC and elem skills and stun them and hope you can kill them in 3 seconds.  but i digress pvp is so stupid atm because of broken double damage skills.  only thing killing an elem or defiler right now is a warrior class like zerk or wl.  a commie might do it with face strike if he doesnt die before he gets close.

 

 

sorry for the wall of text.  i play druid 90% of my time in requiem.  i find this topic amazing

The idea of being able to swap to any form from any other form is also awesome.
Not a big fan of that dot totem idea. Just needs to be properly damage type and instant.

As for druid fighting other classes. Well out of casters only elem is a problem because of reflect

im aa and also skilled for pve so i guess i should have more problems in pvp.  the real problem is the bugged skills and balance issues of cad scad having no mitigation. the only thing you can do is stack a ton of hp lol.

its not dot totem. its fire totem as physical damage / 2 sec, with dot added.

And sone, I understood what you meant
It just idk doesn't feel right.
Just an aoe with some bleed and maybe a slowing effect would be nice
