I am doing research to increase my DB damage and checked out the damage formula to be like this.

Damage = [(CurrHP ÷ 50) + (MaxSP ÷ 4)] × (SkillLv × BaseLv ÷ 150) × (95 + DragonTraining_Lv × 5)% × 
(100 + Ranged Damage Modifers)% x (Elemental Modifiers)% x (100 + Racial Modifiers)%

I tried to search old topic but cant find one. So, since we all know the range modifier does work. I want to ask about the racial modifier part, if i want to kill demihuman, does mace with hydra give better damage assuming the total multiplier with hydra is higher than ranged.

 

Or, does racial modfier part even work? or the racial part is just for reduction.

Answered like 10.000 times in the past 1,5 years.

 

Read the desc. again.

It is a reduction on the monsters side. DB still dont get Ele/Race/Size mods of any kind.

That formula on the OP is very confusing, and indeed the way its written it seems like stuff like hydra,vadon, etc all work.

and the formula is from iROwiki. It does give example like thara frog as racial reduc but does not state if racial enhancer will work.

only card with % that works is archer skeleton.... there is even a pinned topic (thanks Hayroh) with this in it....

Just type "Dragon Breath" in the search engine on Swordsman forums... on the first site already there are 4 or 5 Topics, where people tell others that just Ranged%/HP/SP do work.

Yes, I didnt ment the formula but the Dragon Breath Skill Description page (the notes under the formula)
