Ok so aside from my usual and consistent complaint with this games entire balance revolving around buffs that over-power entire chunks of content+features, I had a random idea.

 

What if the classes and builds had buffs like the passive stacks, that different builds give access to.

Not only that, but all the current buffs, migrated to that system as well. 

 

For example, 

 

Say if you take all the Spear AoE's in the Champion Skill Tree, you could learn a buff that gave 2.5% AP & 2.5% Dodge passively to your Group/Party. 

Then say a Knight had the Full x-Bow Passives, that unlocked a Pierce Defense 2.5%, and AP 2.5%. 

 

I've yet to fully investigate this idea, it's fairly late at the time of writing this post for myself. Having said that, I can list some potential yet not validated/researched benefits.

 

1: Supports class Diversity

2: Negates the need to have CHA classes / buffers.

3: Allows for timer displays

4: Allows greater usage of stats not currently being used for group / party buffs [Crit Damage, Pierce, Skill Power, Heal Received Etc]

5: Probly the best benefit, allows for a much much larger list of possible team compositions. Allowing most anyone to partake in all content.
