Hello Dragon Saga,

 

I wanted to make a suggestion for the game that i believe will help people in-game. I noticed that there is no way to see which people joined a guild and which people left unless we are online at that time. I thought it would be good to have feature which allows the Guild Master and the Vice Guild Masters to see which people joined the guild and which left with a history of like... 1-2 week? Maybe more. In that feature there will be the name, the level, the day and the exact time of the player that left or joined the guild. This can solve misunderstandings and different in-guild problems such as scamming. For example someone "borrows" an item and leaves the guild later without returning the item he "borrowed". Like this the Guild Masters will be able to find the player who scammed easier.

 

What do you think of my idea?

since theres a similar script already implemented for the guild vault,i dont think it would be that hard to make one for the guild itself aswell,therefore as a fellow guild leader,i totally support this sugegstion ~

since theres a similar script already implemented for the guild vault,i dont think it would be that hard to make one for the guild itself aswell,therefore as a fellow guild leader,i totally support this sugegstion ~
 

 

For how many years are you programming C++, working with DBs and developing network stuff? The guild vault history is not a "script", it's pure coding and can't be easily adapted to be used for other things.

 

You should not assume things on your own you don't know about and make people hope for a fast implementation even though that's not possible.

 

Edit: @BlackDragonLord, I will write down your idea for future updates and look if it is possible and how much effort this is. Thanks for your nice suggestion.

There are many other Game MMO's who has A Guild Vauld implented DB Intigrated in the DB section of the SQL, If you make the entire DB Vault thread, only for the vault section, and Implant a brand new guild feature in it, i think you should be good, And as a semi-decent DB User, i know that this is fully possible to do, with enaugh effort and time put into it, and the result will be good.

 

Not to mention its possible to just make an entire DB thread for "Guild" in under "GAME DB"

It's not enough to play around with the DB and say "hey DB here is a table, now DO IT!". To implement this you need to implement it into the client code, the UI, the server code. Please don't try to teach me, ok? I have 20+ years of programming experience. Thanks.

 

I don't know what DB you are talking about, but DS has no "GAME DB". Please refrain from telling us your p-server experiences from any other game.

I think a lot of players here think that the DB that has private servers is the same as the one that is currently using this server.

As Popcorn said, just implementing a function to the DB won't be enough. For the simple reason that you guys want this to be a public function, which requires some changes to the client, and needs to fit with the DB.
You can't simply put a script A to a DB and a script B to the client and make them magicly work together that simply.
