Hello, I want to make a ranger with focus on pvm/mvp but i have many questions about it, i will list here:
1) Can aspd/warg do better dps than arrow storm? I see many videos of people killing mvps with arrow storm, dealing 300k+, some even more than 999k, and some of the aspd videos looks like it take more time to kill than with an arrow storm (using regular equipments)
2) If it does, I need to get 100% crit to be better? (even with fear breze activated in non agi up mvps) or can I do good damage even without or few crit rate?
3) Supposed that I need crit, can I get 100% crit and 193 aspd without sacrifice a lot of dmg? I want to use equipments like +9 eddga hat, wws and elven bow with ak, but I will lose oportunity to get crit/aspd. I want a build when I dont "need" many consumables to be good, but when I can use them to be better. I want to kill almost all mvps, or at least the weakest ones without consumables, with focus on equipment and build.
4) I have 2 possible builds to do (at lvl 150/175). What of these you guys think it's better to choice? :
Hybrid build:
str 1
agi 120
vit 60/100
int 30/60
dex 100/110
luk 90
I probably won't get 100 crit, but it can be versatile in equipment, I can do good damage with arrow storm with bxb, ww set, and with 60 int I maybe don't need to use vanaguard helm or rideworth hat. I can use autumn headband instead to improve my dmg. I probably won't need to invest too much in diferent equipments when switch between arrow storm and aspd, since I probably will not invest in crit.
Aspd crit Build:
str 1
agi 120
vit 70/90 or 70/71
int 1/2
dex 100 or 100/110
luk 120
I will probably invest in many equipment to get 100 crit and 193 aspd, using diferent versions of same itens, like faw or wws with diferent enchants for arrow storm and aspd/crit, and I will use luck boots instead agi boots when I get 120 luk. Looks like it does more dmg with aspd than hybrid build, since have crit, and same or a little less (probably nothing too significant) dmg with arrow storm. It looks more expensive too, I don't know how better this can be, or if it's really much better than hybrid with no crit. (I don't know if I'll go to vit or dex way, but since the purpose of this build is do dmg, maybe I choice dex than vit).
5) In both build, I dont know how should I choose, how one build can be better than another. If I can do good dps with hybrid build, i want to use this, but i see in many videos almost all peoples use crit with aspd/warg, but with consumables, and specific gears. So, I dont know what build have more potential since one may need to sacrifice dmg to get crit and other sacrifice crit to get dmg. In both cases I want to use fear breze, but it will reduce my crit proc too (I only wont use in agi up mvps, but in this case i need crit to hit). In this case still worth using crit? If no, what I can do to kill agi up mvps? (Swordmans for example have gungnir who can give 45 perfect hit with mummy set) Can I kill them using luk/crit consumables, even without reach max crit?
6) Is better Lucky Day for 200 luk (for 100% warg chance) or 200 dex (dmg) on temporal boots?
Well, I think this is all for now. I have many questions about it, I want to make a good ranger, but I dont know which way I should to go, I never played suficient longer with ranger, I dont know what use to kill strongest mvps (I dont want to spend more than I can get too, like 2~3kk in consumables for each mvp I will kill to get often nothing, I want to spend only when I really need, like for getting crit to kill agi up mvps or stronger mvps), and I want to kill almost all normal monsters OH with arrow storm until lvl 150, with suficient damage to farm/up without trouble.
