There has no innovation for ages, and the population is dropping. All there is cash boxes to become better. Where are new locations to explore, and new quests that give this game meaning? People are seeing this lack of innovation and quests, and they leave for other games. My question is, what is the GM team going to mitigate this problem?

Updating Classic infrastructure
Implementing 3-2 Mora Equivalent Gear
Implementing 15.2 16.1 and the Doram Updates this year
Addressing exploits and abuse
An aggressive event schedule that will debut with Gramps and his plans for retirement (June) (Don't worry he won't make enough zeny to retire.. we hope)
Summer Sports Fest (August)
New School Year at the Izlude Academy (September)
Terror from the Academy (October)
Ferus and Bewlers Day Off (The Great Pet Escape - November)

Previous years TLAPD Event will be returning in September as well.

Well if this keeps up more and more are going to quit. iRO went from over 3000 during woe to about 2600. Doesn't help that they don't have a decent way to lend MvP cards as well. They'd rather you're SOL rather than make a way to make it easy. They don't give us those tools so they should be managing it.

 

@Camp it's a bit late, we dropped 600 or more population. 

 

Previous years TLAPD Event will be returning in September as well.

That's my point you keep re hashing old quests. Fine bring them back once in a while so people can get the items. However, make new events so it makes things fresh.

Fishing and Treasure Maps! We may have time to expand on the TLAPD event script but I want to focus on the new school year event first.

There has been quite a bit of instances that got implemented though. I'm quite looking forward to Nightmare OGH and TF actually. Any news when we will be getting those? 

 

Every game always decline in population, they just need a boost in advertising or an event to get people back to play or start playing. Last time they got a boost in population was from pRO and previously was RO being on Steam. Boy did I met many new people that came from Steam.

I am very sorry to hear that the hard work our GM's and CM's are putting into begging for updates from Korea does not meet your personal standards. I am sure you as much as the rest of us want the fastest most mindless experience possible but the fact that there is a steep language barrier.


Lets not give people a wrong idea about the game's development.

Salt is interesting because it can be both a flavor enhancer or help act as an agent to reduce the bitterness in a lot of foods we eat.

For something like French Fries, salt makes them taste 1000x times better.

If you add a little bit of salt to your coffee, it keeps the bitterness from the coffee bean and brings out that great tasting coffee.

How do I know this? I live in the most saltiest region on earth, NA.

*total lie* I at least did my part by offering a quest storyline where the end goal is the player gets to marry Cinnamod for a day, and the general focus of the plot is that we need to go to various parts of Midgard and grope the chest of particular NPC's, but everyone rejected my proposal *total lie*

The game is what you make of it. Recent events that my guildies and I have been really busy with!

 

Current - Enrich Upgrade events! Get your desired gears and upgrade them before Enrich is gone!

Current - Geffen Spotlights. Fun times to help new players level up.

Last week - EXP event! Leveling more different characters to try them out is fun.

- Juno Spotlight was heck of fun no matter how many times they put it in. :3 I enjoy watching Havenn's videos too.

Sarah and Fenrir - March 4th 2016 farm those OP rings!

Airship Raid - February 9th 2016 - Easy instance, new gears!

There's a lot of opportunity the GMs can use amazing artworks from kRO or jRO to promote their games. Or maybe host some loading screen contests?

I think though Fier my dear, is that ShoLin wants new custom quests or events instead of repeats, to which I ask, if he has any idea's and storyboards for such events which he can put to the table for us all to see? Genuinely interested to know.

 

Heres one I just thought of now which can be totally fun and fustrating:

 

*NEW IDEA!* Ungenerous hammer degrading event: High chances that your upgrades will fail but no gears broken, just refines go downwards. *NEW IDEA!*

Thus why I asked about Nightmare OGH and TF, those are two new instances that many of us are looking forward to. Custom events on iRO are probably Enrich/ Summoners/ Map Spotlights. New maps and new region will ultimately depend on kRO's side. 

 

I think Oda was working on some Cow Boy themed town ideas also.
