Rune-Midgarts
Tourism Guidebook

May 6 - May 31

Do you have a location in Ragnarok 2 that you absolutely love? Or maybe you have a type of location that you love, which are in different actual locations. Either way, the Prontera Travel Agency is looking for volunteers to write guides for their new Tourism Guidebook. They will, of course, reward those who provide usable guides. But more about that later.

What we need is a guide for a specific location that you really enjoy visiting. We need you to show us (with screenshots) and tell us (in writing) why you love it so much. If you have several locations you like that follow a theme (forests, rivers, towns, so on), you can write a guide like that instead.

The Prontera Travel Agency has prepared some examples for you to view, so you can see what we're looking for.

Elemento Academy Waterfall - Wonderful waterfall, this is where the adventure of every midgardian begins! The water drops that sprinkle from the fall cause abondant rainbows particularly sought by lovers for their romantic venue getaways.

Flow rate: Unknown. The place is too magical to be quantified.

-----------------------

1462681513-quest-waterfall.png

Quest waterfall - Bring second pair of clothes if you ever are going to visit this place! Elemento Academy definitely provides good warm memories to everyone.

Flow rate:  208 m3/s

------------------

1462682991-payon-waterfall.jpg

Payon Forest Waterfall - The bridge that overlaps Payon waterfall gives a beautiful, refreshing and close view to the plunge. Absolutely mesmerizing! It's been said, however, that 3 workers died during the construction of the wooden bridge. Midgardians are not very good at building bridges! (See South Plains). Despite the beauty of the waterfall, the place seals its own dark secrets.

Flow rate: 310 m3/s

1462681513-verta-delta-water-dump-fall.p

Verta Delta Water dump fall - Immensely toxic non-potable water, it is thought to be the reason why Nependes flourish in the surrounding area. Rumours have it that Drake's crew drank that water from the river when looking for fresh water to load up their ship with and turned into what they are now: despicable pirate ghosts! Rat Master can't live without it! For all those reasons, it is a place to visit and know.

Flow rate: 97 m3/s

1462682130-alberta-fish-statue-3.jpg

Alberta Waterfall statue: Very beloved spouting fish-like statue. The noise of water spewing can become annoying over time to Alberta residents but it's very refreshing for the inhabitants and passers-by during hot Summer days!

Flow rate: 1 m3/s

Jawaii Love Island Waterfall - Situated in the second of the two Jawaii Islands, this lovely waterfall is a great place to rest and think about life. It is surrounded by mystery just like the whole island, and provides a wonderful sightseeing place to visit and cherish. If anyone asks, Wonderland closed 23 minutes ago.

An altar is available nearby for in love couples who wish to celebrate marriage.

Flow rate: 450 m3/s

Character Name: Garnath
Category: (Location / Theme) Theme: Docks, Wharfs, and other places to park your boat.
Guide:

Do you like boats? Or maybe you have one and just need a place to put into port? either way, come to these fine locales for beautiful scenery, fresh food, or even a little adventure!

13164493_1093229420744054_29222499444679

Izlude Hill's Fisherman's Wharf! A fine place to pull your boat in after taking a skimmer out and go fishing or crabbing in the fine Izlude bay! Vadon meat and freshly caught Phen are a common pull from Izlude bay. If you are feeling more adventurous though, mayhaps you'd be up for some treasure hunting? The famed Temple of the Sea God is rumored to be nearby... with a little scuba diving who knows what your luck will bring!

-----------------

13138850_1093229290744067_19309837220143

The grand Alberta Docks! Nestled in the SouthEast of our great Rune-Midgards kingdom, these docks are a hub of activity. Trade is ongoing daily in the nearby open market, or if you are more sedentary you can lay on the nearby beach and watch as the ships leave port. Rumor even has it that hidden here is a sea route to the famed Island of Love, Jawaii!!!

-----------------

13178884_1093229744077355_32782605302046

Verta Delta's Boatswain! This entrepeneurial boatswain has set into port along Coco Beach, Mr. Kayak Dunston has always been a fan of a good Instant Valkyrie Steak, if you bring him one perhaps he'll likey spin the tale of the great Captain Drake who was said to have disappeared crew, ship and all not too far from here... he may even take you to their last known coordinates, if you're not afraid of ghosts that is! While quick running currents and shallow reef beds prevent larger ships from setting anchor too close, many seatraders do business here, selling their wares that are... uh... less available in nearby Alberta.

-----------------

13177196_1093229647410698_21021997598490

Jawaii Ocean's Wharf! A setting sun, a cool breeze off the ocean, and fresh salt water between your toes! This wharf is set in the west of Jawaii's... uh... larger than life, Ocean Island! With very... uhm... playful, yes, very VERY playful wildlife nearby one can be assured there will never be a dull moment here! While primarily used by The Jelly Foot clan of WildRose for their own personal form of trade, this port still sees much business from both the Love Island and from our own Alberta! If you've got a big appetite, don't you worry, because food portions here will make you feel as small as a poring!

-----------------

13177497_1093229610744035_34623019705166

And finally our last stop... Jawaii's Love Island Docks! At the foot of Jawaii's wonderful vista views lies one of the most welcoming ports known! Jawaii villagers gladly welcome newcomers to their own little piece of heaven. Warmed by Frigg's heart, they will do their best to share with you and warm you from your cold seaborne journey. The crystal clear waters around the docks bring many people by to watch Blossom Fish dance beneath the waves. If you're lucky, from here you may even hear the song of Lady Arista.

Rune-Midgarts Tourism Guidebook:

The Path to the Ancient Religion of Rune-Midgarts by mscocca.

Hundred miles South from Prontera City, the beating heart of Rune-Midgarts, lies a Forgotten City. Lost to the memories of the youngest, naturally hidden through mountains, only a few buildings prove the old existence of what used to be the center of the early Rune-Midgartsian natives. The modern splendour of Prontera City is overshadowed by the beauty of this place.

A7oUQNJ.jpg

The Double Archways Bridge. Once painted in vivid cerulean and crimson red, the two Archways, represent the entrance to the Forgotten City. The two Archways were built by the natives long time ago on the Archaways Bridge that connects the Modern Rune-Midgarts to the Forgotten City of Payon, once isolated and only described by the story-tellers: no one was allowed to access it.

MOmK2qD.jpg

The Dragonflies’ Lake. Crossed the bridge, on its left, twirling on the lake, the Dragonflies, have been protecting the lake for centuries: an underground Dragon is told to protect it as well, would it be true?

ub2g7j4.jpg

Dwellings of Natives. Made out with Enchanted Trees’ wood and stone, this is what is left of the ancient dwellings of Natives. The holy area, right inside The Gate, was only accessible to the Rune-Midgartsian Monks, really devoted to Eddga.

bv3D81M.jpg

Eddga’s Holy Sanctuary. Once painted in vivid cerulean and crimson red, decorated with gold and all the riches, the Eddga’s Holy Sanctuary is where the Monk were praying and preaching Eddga for It to come back to Rune-Midgarts. Neglect by time, the Holy Sanctuary still revokes the old splendour of the ancients times.

EjJq1Dm.jpg

The Seventeen Stairs to the Ocean. The number seventeen represented bad luck in Rune-Midgarts ancient culture. It was believed that The Seventeen Stairs to the Ocean would scare the Sea Demons and keep them away from the Holy Area of the Forgotten City.

4mMbj2z.jpg

The Condors’ Cliff. Right down The Seventeen Stairs to the Ocean, it’s where the Ocean of Rune-Midgarts shows its strenght the most. Its power, trough the centuries, corroded the stone, giving the Cliff an unique look. It’s said to be the s where lovers go to see the sunset.

bNZBlRn.jpg

The Abode of Consort Kushinada. Left alone for centuries, Consort Kushinada is still waiting at what is left of her Abode for Eddga to return. The Abode was built to Consort Kushinada by the natives, moved by her melancholy and sadness. Will Eddga ever be back?

As you enter Dayr Desert map,  you'll take notice of several statues and ancient destinations, and this is one of them. The statue of Horus, one of ancient Egypts most significant dieties. If you are curious as to how they make and purify all those pilanium lying around in the area, this is the perfect place you need to go. From pilanium powder villagers smelt and purify these minerals to make Prime grade pilarium. The more Pilanium in your equipment, the better and stronger it gets, just like what I am wearing. Please take note not to feed the birds! Villagers wanted to keep the place clean and feather free!

Dayr 2nd Temple

This statue looks familiar isn't it? You are absolutely right! This is one of the three Temples that you can visit in the Dayr Desert Map. Horus is holding a Life element crystal.

Selfie with Apostle Guts

Apostle Guts is one of the boss leaders in the area within the enclosure of the Surt Temple. I was gladly welcomed by Apostle Guts and the ladies, they are kind enough to join in my selfie.

Dayr Desert Oasis

Guide:

Prontera

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_00_07_25_zpsak4]

Prontera is the Capitol City of Rune-Midgarts Kingdom that rules the entire Midgard continent located in the North of the Midgard.

Prontera is the place where everyone hangs out after a tiring day of Grinding and doing quests.

The View of prontera's sky is exhilarating with its Blue cloudy skies and the Castle which leaves everyone to be at awe with its architectural design!

Tour Prontera with your friends and there's more to the map than the picture!

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_00_16_51_zpse6r]ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_00_15_39_zpsf1s]

Here is an attraction site in prontera Located at South of Prontera there are boats and ships waiting for you to go and see! I was very excited to see that prontera has ships and a little boat docked on the edge for me to jump in and roam around! I stayed here a little longer than expected because of the beauty of this place.

West Mt.Mjolnir

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_01_05_32_zpsuag]

West Mt.Mjolnir is the first sight you will ever see on your first day in Rune-Midgarts for all classes except noel. A place where we first learn how to fight and train in game. Also, it is a place with streamy waterfalls located near the Cave of riddles. The view is energizing with its blue flowy waterfalls rushing down the stream. It's a place where you can feel refreshed and relaxed. To find and to climb this waterfall was difficult for me as I needed to jump and jump up the hill on the right side of the waterfall to be able to pose a picture. but indeed a very worthy experience.

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_01_13_03_zpsy7b]

West Mt.Mjolnir also have a sneak peek of its colorful rainbow up in the sky located near NPC Kose and near the Monster Academy near the bridge. A few players only know of this beautiful sight because the rainbow only shows in the right camera angles, so be sure to adjust your camera angles right! As I've taken my friends in this location, they are at awe seeing the rainbow for the first time in their whole gaming span! Be sure to visit this site when you have free time guys! this is the most surprising view in the sky for me because it is the first rainbow I have ever seen in this game. very beautiful skies and views.

Payon Forest

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_01_28_10_zpsjuv]

.

Payon Forest not only gives players to watch trees and shrubs, within it's forest there lies a Waterfall where you can see clearly if you cross the bridge located West of Hunter's Lodge. You can even go photoshoot in the bridge with your friends and pose for pictures be careful not to fall or else you'll land in the luscious blue waters of the Payon Forest. It is like West Mt.Mjolnir's waterfall but the ambiance is surely different with the bridge being provided it was easier to see all the beauty of the waterfall from top to bottom!

Divided Plains

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_01_54_32_zpsiqw]

Divided plains might look a little bit scary when we first step foot on the map, But if you go to the Fountain Of Thousand Snake you will be very surprise on how majestic and how the map is so balanced with this beautiful scenery and sparkly water which almost remind me of crystals in the water. The fountain has a snake statue located on the center which provides flow of the water. Divided plains may seem to be a desert and have dry cracked soil but on this scenery it is quite beautiful to even peek at this place!

Verta Delta

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_13_36_26_zps5ng]

Verta delta gives our eyes a beach scenery and pirate ships. There is a place where I might say it is a secret place to go. It is located south of Sogratt Desert warp portal near the sandy part of the map and only a few people know this little island of Verta delta. It has a widespread view of the beach and the palm trees gives a very comforting touch to this view. This place is where your friends would surely want to hang out secretly or make a secret hide out!

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_12_03_33_zpsien]

If you jump off the cliff on the little secret island place in Verta delta (see previous picture), and swim to the wide sea you can see a huge shipwreck called the Cursed Ghost Ship! It might seem a bit spooky but it is so cool and very interesting!

Dayr Desert

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_02_45_03_zpsjea]

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_02_52_23_zpsqtm]

In Dayr Desert this fiery scene is found. The first picture can be found near the Muka area, South west of Desert trio. The second picture can be found in the center of the Dayr Desert in the Surf Temple. these are the two greatest things I would recommend taking a peek in Dayr Desert because I could not find anything like this in the whole map! very fiery and fierce yet it feels so exhilarating and I am at awe to see the burning scenery! A truly must see places in Dayr Desert.

Yggdrasil Garden

ScreenCapture_2016_05_18_00_21_11_zpskgm]

Yggdrasil garden is where noel class first learn how to fight and train. It is a magical place where mobs are too cute and the moon is vivid and dreamy. This scenery is found in the north of Prontera Dispatched Knightage. This is my most favorite attraction in the whole tour and in my whole gaming span. I have never seen the moon so big and it almost resembles like a wallpaper but you can actually go to this place! The kum kum's greeted me with a cute wiggle on their tail and flapped their angelic wings as I sat down to take a photo.

Should you fancy a walk (or, in some cases, a very stealthy tip-toe) through some of Midgard’s most haunted spots, open up this guide and allow us to lead you on the spookiest Ghost Tour Midgard has to offer.

OBS:(Portuguese(BR) )

Guide:

jzW9mpe.jpg

Verta do Delta:
