Here is the problem, I created an account that was needed. I logged in after I installed and patched the game. It starts with the logos and the login screen but after I choose a channel the game instantly stops working. I tried other channels but that didn't work either.

I have played Dragonica EU (too bad it stopped) so I do know how the game works but I don't know how to fix this, anyone has any ideas?

Does it give you a message when it stops working?
I recommend redownloading the game. It may have been corrupted at some point.

You can try to add the game to the exceptions of your anti virus software and firewall, this could help.

In the case you got an intel core I7, you could try to disable "hyperthreading"...

I found mine under advanced voltage settings, if you happen to be looking for it.
Don't change anything else unless you know about overclocking, though. :)

Interesting.
That's a laptop processor, right?

Let's try a few things. Update your graphics drivers to the most recent, and make sure you have directx installed. Your pc should have no issues running the game.
Try opening it in Windowed mode (options in the patcher) and let us know how that goes.

Yes indeed it's a laptop ^^ I will try and let you know

EDIT: I tried it, redownloaded the game, installed but the same thing is happening. I select a channel, and after that the screen changes into the loading screen and then closes the game..

I have also tried to delete the patch.id and then run patcher, so it would repatch everything. But that also didn't work..

I'd suggest updating your OS or upgrading to the latest windows 10 while it's still free and trying that.

If you are on a laptop it could be that your onboard graphics might not be switching over from intel hd to it's dedicated gpu (if you have one), Update the intel drivers and play with the settings to make sure.

I would also bet on outdated drivers.

I updated all the drivers, they were indeed outdated. But it still did not solve the problem.. I can play other games easily and this one just doesn't work :(

Maybe one of us could share the complete Dragon Saga folder so we could find out if your issue comes from a corrupted file.

Usually, when your connection isnt the best one, the downloader can have some troubles downloading correctly the game.

Maybe download and install again now that the drivers are up to date? Just guessing here :P

Things that might help:

Update your physx drivers (doesn't matter what gpu you have).

Download and install all available updates for your OS via windows update.

Right click the game and select properties>compatibility mode> windows 7/xp. Tick run as admin box.

Don't forget to restart your computer afterwards.

I remember having this issue at one point and forgot what I did to fix it.

I know like nothing about computers but I've seen enough of threads like these lol :P

When you install something it could like set some settings or something to fit the drivers you have or the drivers could effect the install, no? That just something that would make sense to me, which is basically what my suggestions on these are based on.

Okay so here are the things i tried:

- updated all my drivers, physx, intel, nvidia

- updated my OS for all updates (except win10 cause i really don't want it)

- uninstalled/redownloaded a few times.

- i always run it as admin

- used the compability modes

- deleted patcher.id in hope it would patch good now.

And still even now with the latest patch I still got the problem. I have no trouble with other games like Guild Wars 2 to play it, only this game gave me these troubles.

When the game stops working, do you get just a white screen or does the whole game just close? Have you tried installing it in different location? (the normal location is something like C:\Gravity\Dragon Saga, but you could try installing it to D:\ for example).

It just closes, I have it now installed on D:\ cause I normally keep my games there. But I will try reinstalling it in C:\

EDIT: It didn't work..

I have one trick up my sleeve. My friend downloaded the game too because we used to play it together. So I asked him if he could share his folder with me. I really want to play this game so I hope this will work, otherwise I would really know no other option..

Thanks for the text, Chimichanga.
I'm currently uploading my game folder to my Google Drive. I'll send you the download link once it's up. If this one doesn't work, it's not on WarpPortal's end, and there's nothing anyone here will be able to do, sadly.

Edit: sent you the download link via Pm. I hope it goes well.

Thank you for helping me so much with this. The game still does not work and I have read about the PhysXCore.dll that it probably has to do something with that. I turned my Physx to CPU and still didn't work. I got the log file here:

I think that I then just won't be able to play this game even though the Dragonica used to work with gPotato.. I looked all over the internet for solutions but none really helped me.. so if you have a solution for this or any idea for it, please let me know
