It might seem obvious, but with the new mechanic set, you are no longer required to go 120 dex.
This gives more options to increase some other stats besides dex, probably allowing for more flexibility in stat allocation.

I'm actually using the EA FAW with Temporal Dex Boots right now Boxinguru. Still saving up money to buy/farm for the new mechanic gears. Glad to know that my old gears aren't obsolete, and the new mechanic accessories and armor are still quite useful even without the full set bonus.
Another question though, I've been looking around the Database website and found discrepancies with Pile Bunker S.
The irowiki database states that it reduces Cast Delay with every 2 upgrades, while the website says it increases attack speed every 2 upgrades. Which one is it?

I am pretty sure it is ASPD increase every 2 upgrades. I haven't seen one in game and am working on farming engines to find out.

On a related note, has anyone tried playing as an Axe Mechanic with the new Tornado Axe and Supplement Gears?
Could anyone confirm if the supplement bonuses stack?

I have tested Axe Mechanic a little bit. With a +9 sea captains hat, +7 Tornado axe, and supplement gear it does decent damage. I was doing similar damage compared to arm cannon but was able to spam faster with axe tornado.

Im not sure what you mean by stacking. If I equip the armor and garment I do get the 25% tornado bonus. If I add the dex supplement I get the boomerang bonus. If I add another dex I do get double casting reduction and sp cost but I dont get double boomerang damage.

with or without hat, with or without tornado axe, with or without gear set, and combination.

The Sea Captain Hat does not appear to be stacking correctly. Will need more testing. Quick testing, so accuracy may not be 100%.

I believe fuyukikun stated the "stacking" question I had a bit better. Again, thank you for confirming that you can get all supplement armor bonuses when you have them equipped together.

There are just a few gears I find appealing with this update. The AC set would be worthwhile if it was 100% increase instead of 50%. The best part of the set are the barrels, but only for KB.
The Axe Tornado set is barely worth it. You need a +9 Sea Captains Hat to do similar damage to the AC build. The Tornado Axe is good for spamming AT, also increases damage slightly. You take alot more damage as well.

Now, all we need to know are the enchantments we can get for the new Mechanic gears.
1. Which of the new armors can be enchanted? Does it include the new weapons as well?
2. Do we get better enchantments at +9? What're the possible enchantments for each type of gear?

Boxinguru, I've found one on vend a while ago.
Apparently, Pile Bunker S reduces cast delay by 1% every 2 upgrades.

Max level axe tornado skill with supplement str and con, lvl 3 axe boomerang +7 supplement str and dex and a tornado axe +7 non- carded. No buffs.
my average for axe tornado i do about 2 k/tik with out buffs as long as they are not wind property or earth property
axe boomerang average damage with out buffs , wearing supplement str and dex at lvl 3 is about 30k. while wearing +9 sea captain hat with a pollution [dark penguicula]
