Is Dark illusion (9 cell) a range attack?

Is Aoe damage classify as range attack if like more than 2 cell like RC 5x5 cell?

Is Aoe damage classify as range attack if like more than 2 cell like RC 5x5 cell? It has to be 4 or more cells away to be considered a ranged attack.

The 4 cell thing is not necessarily correct, there's a bunch of skills with more thazn 4 cells range and are still melee. (Ignition Break, Kunai Splash[supposed to change in the future], Overbrand etc)

Kunai Splash is a bug. Ignition Break and Overbrand have a 0 and 1 cell range respectively which makes them melee.

due to its 5x5 cell range?

4cell range = 4cell to each side = 9x9

The skill must have a casting range of 4 or more cells.The AoE doesn't matter.Self cast skills will never be ranged.

Except Rampage Blaster(It's ranged?) and raid I don't see the problem. Gunslinger and Hunter skills are coded to be ranged anyways.

 for not understanding the clarification by @sb120495 : but I just need to reconfirm the question that OP asked.. If my GX is using a Level 5 Rolling Cutter, i.e. 5x5 cells range.. does an EA enchant affect it? and if yes, then technically an EA5 or an EA 6 is technically better than a FS 5~7 then, yes? (this is specifically regarding RC GX) !!!!
