thanks for the replay I learn from it
btw can you hit the AK's mob? even if I am 148 with 70 Dex, I still miss it sometimes

I think I do, don't remember now. Check out the replay, but ya the khaliz are a pain to kill at lower levels. They have high def and they agi up too.

I thought OP wanted to be a family man. :c

Spoiler

On a more serious note, back when we got old gh, I read somewhere that each mob you kill in the second part has a fixed chance to spawn the miniboss. If you're having trouble with khalis, kill everything else, backslide away from them/cloak exceed past them.

Watch out for the minibosses, there's 5 (or maybe 4, I'm not sure, I do old gh on autopilot nowadays, brain is not focused during it lol) fixed spots where they spawn, be careful where you engage, some of the spots spawn additional mobs.

For amdarais, with fireproof pot (bathory armor) I take 16~20k damage so as long as you keep your HP over 21k, you should be safe. Watch out for double magnums, that's the only thing that hurts. You have 5 seconds to outpot the ~20k damage if RNG decided it's double magnum time. I can't really remember the last time I got hit by hell's judgement so can't comment on that damage... =/

EDIT:

Oh yeah, the sneaky 9k crits too, watch out for those, that could be 30k burst damage (crit+magnum).

Cant skip all Khaliz, some need to killed for mini spawn(the one that re-spawn at certain spots)

4 Spots, as soon as you get the "Evil Presence....." pop-up message stop killing stuff and avd  cloak find the mini. AK and Khal can still see you in Adv Cloak

Best Option is to carry 10-15 seeds and use them in emergency. ALso yellow candy + pumpkin is 1000 times more cheaper than spamming ranked slims

You sure about that one? I distinctly remember skipping khalis on my starting runs when I was lover level (I just killed raydrics, archers, AKs and the bloodies) and didn't have any trouble spawning the minis.

the only things you need to kill to spawn the minis are the packs that get triggered. all the random trash that is standing around to begin has nothing to do with the commander spawns. As a GX it's super easy to just hop from spawn to spawn since you don't trigger them while in cloak exceed.

Its RNG but the Khaliz does spawn with the triggered mob

One thing I'll say is that you should be careful about killing regular mobs when fighting the spawned RK/death knight as they can retrigger the spawn even if one is out.

So, the death knight spawns and you fight it along with some random mob from nearby. You kill the mob before the death knight, and it causes a new death knight to spawn (potentially in another area) undoing the current one.

Happened to me a few times and it's always a face-palm moment.

Ya try to isolate the spawned mini boss from regular mobs/trigger areas. Can use fire converters to do more RC damage to the spawned RK/mini but will have to unequip weapon after killing/before entering next room, or else you will RC 4-5k to the mobs.

never said it didn't. iirc the triggered packs consist of 1 ak, 1 bk, 1 raydric, 1 raydric archer, and 1 khal. haven't been to ogh in ages but i used to run it daily.

also since the commander is boss flagged it's pretty easy to lure him away from any trigger points and deal with him individually anyway. evil armor also makes his Dark SS miss while kiting.

Standard GX protocol -> cloak exceed, lure boss into nice corner where the Magnum Break won't push you away (use walls/obstacles), then dark crow and RC.

OGH is fun when you optimize your route through it and realize that what seemed like a difficult or daunting high level instance becomes very easy, simple, and routine with preparation.

Then you get bored eventually and move on to something else. Still, made some good money a while back from OGH. And it's not a bad way to get XP either, depending on your level range.
