I know not loosing any exp when dying is good but when i try to suicide to stay on lvl 99(and try to gain some few jlevel first) i only lose jexp. is it bugged or am i just doing something wrong? i tried logging out then log back in same thing. tried changing maps. still the same thing. im using a Kagerou class by the way.

Really? im pretty sure i tried it before with my rebel to stay on 99 so i can take advantage of free skill reset(to test some skills.) ...

No, rebels were the exact same.

rebels jobbed so quickly that you probably wouldn't have even needed to suicide.

if you're a 99 trans char or a 99 pre-trans char you wouldn't lose base exp when dying either. you only lose exp as 99 if you're a third class.

If they lift free skill reset requirement by 1 level, this wouldn't be an issue.
