Can i use safe to 7 certificates to lvl up shadow equipment? I don't seem to find the option when i talk to the shadow blacksmith.

yeah you cant use safe certs for shadow equipment.

there is no break protection for shadow gears until +7. so you should always used enriched ores to maximize your chance to get to +7. once you get to +7 you can use hd ores to +10.

Do you know if the upgrade goes down 1 level with HD Ore at +7 for shadow gear?

yes. it's no different than enriched hammer, as long as you don't exit dialogue box you can use it to safely get back to +7 using hd ores anyway. but it needs to be +7 at the start.

Hey, I tried to use enriched elu some time ago to upgrade my spellflow shadow set, and the option was gray. I thought it was only possible to use those ores on events. WTH? Is it possible to use Enriched Elu/Ori for shadow gears anytime?

Maybe there was a mistake from somewhere else, like... no zeny, maybe (the option to use normal ores was there, though). I'll try again and if I can't use them, I'll open a ticket.

you can always use enriched ores on shadow gears, at any refine rate, at any time.
