Hi, as the topic suggest. Will medallion drop in dungeon or i have to go Oblivion Temple to hunt for the king?

Far as I know, you can not get the medallion from the dungeon, just from Oblivion Temple.  The only reason you can get the Ulverick medallion in CoU is because that's the only place Ulverick spawns

And CoU drops them more than anything else. I have hundreds in storages. You practically can't even give them away.

 Hmm then i thk rose wiki has an outdated information? haha it say the DG does drop mummy medallion

I believe you can get the Mummy Medallion from the HoO run. But I'm not 100% so don't quote me on it. I just remember someone [maybe it was Trang?] mentioned it in a post. 

I never run HoO cause the 20 second AoE mute mechanic and tightly packed rooms often result in a wipe unless the Cleric is outside the room and only runs in to purify the mute.

i don't think it does though, if it did, then people before this would have got a bunch of them just like how ulverick medals are generally being completely useless. So personally i don't think so. Also that post that feuer mention, i think its to SUGGEST that the mummy king have a chance to drop medal, but hey, all this is based on my own memory so meh :v

Ulverick medals re common because it's a high chance to get one. Where as the mummys aren't. You can witness it by trying to farm OT + HoO's together and you'll see that you can farm 50+ mummy's and not get 1 medal. But run 50+ CU' and you're bound to get at LEAST 5 medals.

Yea, Mummy king Medallion is harder than Ulverick. Anyway I'll try both and if i got any from HoO I will let you all know

According to this thread, Mummy King Medallion is to drop on lower tier Hoo instead of the lv200ish.

So maybe you will wanna give it a try.

Haha good to know this. But i have no char that coul get into low tier
