Hey All~
I would like to propose a rough idea for a system which could help shake the game up.
I call this "Ikol's Gamble" and it revolves around the concept of risking an item for the chance of additional effects. It's essentially an enchant system that if the result is positive, it can result in anything from okay to game changing enchants; or, if the result is negative, result in an item becoming useless.
This is not a profit turning enchant system either, the item would become account bound once made.
It would involve a single NPC which would give a simple dialogue to choose an item from your inventory and then have a single acceptance to move forward with the gamble.
It would involve three rolls, roughly like so:
First Roll
Stay the same or change? 50/50 chance.
Second Roll
Is it a positive or a negative change? 30/70 chance.
Third Roll (Negative)
Third Roll (Positive)
Please remember this is a rough idea, the positive/negative effects would be expanded and would be specified for specific item types etc, and of course the chance for some of the really useful effects would be quite low (can't have everyone enchanting an improved Baphomet Card effect on a weapon can we?)
Would love to hear from the community about this.
