Just as the title says;

I take damage every time I switch maps or move areas, anything with loading screens. It doesn't matter if my HP is full or not, it always goes down to something like 80%. As a Myrmidon, I'd use Gamble and get the amplification, my HP would go down at around 80% of my original HP, not the amplified one. Meaning, I'd be taking greater damage during map transitions.

What's causing it? I'm not sure at the moment but it's been pretty consistent since the day I created my character. I initially thought it was because of the Dragon Lord's Blessing buff, since my HP is always multiplied by twice its amount before level 41. Turns out something still mysteriously attacks me in between loading screens.

Question about where or which map or area? It can happen anywhere as far as I know. Even in towns. This is most prevalent in Mission Modes, when I need my HP the most during boss fights, it gets damaged for unknown reasons.

Screenshots won't really do this one justice. I'll take a video of it when I get the chance.

You're not taking damage, your hp is simply going to its maximum, before the buff reapplies. I'll mention it to the staff and see if there's anything they can do in the near future.

Thank you for the reply.

Although I did mention I take damage even without any buffs. I don't have any other ways to increase my HP other than the random chance of the Gamble skill. I have to take at least 1 potion every time I transition in Mission Mode, so if I go through the entire room without taking damage, the next area will eat up my HP again.

I almost forgot to record the video. I will edit this post later.

Don't you use Gladiator's Passive(s)?

I do. Does that explain the drop every time I switch areas? I tried removing my armor and costumes, still kind of the same problem.

Thing is, I retried this freshly logged-in several times, the drop doesn't happen, even with full set of equipment and with the Gamble HP buff. I thought it was inconsistent but then I tested it again without logging out. To avoid making things confusing, lemme break it down:

  1. Freshly logged-in, doesn't drop HP.
  2. Get hit by enemies even once, HP drop always happens.
  3. Tried and retried no armor + costumes and accessories, HP drop.

Could it actually be the passives? That's my theory for now. If that is the case, then this probably isn't a bug and I'm making a mistake.

That theory was spoken of for a long time; I myself think that the problem comes from that Passive, but I don't know whether anyone from the game's staff let out any proof.

The problem also goes for Knight's Body Activation, if I remember right.

Rainnowx is right it are the passives.

Yes, both warrior classes passives are doing this. I asked my guild mates and both the gladiator as well as the knight are experiencing the exact same thing "if" they skill their passives. They told me "it's always been like this"......I have to trust them on this, cause I only play bandits...  :p_smile:

Is that so? Then it really is the passives... but then it doesn't happen when I'm freshly logged in.

I've tried it with my Priest character, it doesn't seem to be happening. So highly likely it's a Warrior thing.

This behavior really doesn't make sense, maybe it can be fixed?

Thieves suffer the same thing only if under Vitality's effect. (Just to tell whoever uses it '-')

As for Bandit's Intelligence...... That will be known in a long time XD

Also, I don't really see how a Priest can increase the max' HP...

Unless you were testing with various Equipments; then you saw the result yourself.

Come to think of it, the impact only gets a lot bigger as I level up.

My HP is around 10k-ish with buffs on, it goes down to 6k despite being healed with potions. It makes some sense, but it renders the effect of the buffs and equipment to be useless if it always goes down in between map transitions.

I really hope there's a solution for this, otherwise Warrior and Thief should get a replacement for their buffs.

This probably happens for the same reasons as the problem with the Dragon Lord's Blessing Buff in the past.

If I have some time between event- and Arcadia work I'll have a look and try to fix it.
