ICYMI (In case you missed it) here's last week's Tiki Q&A show with CM Dragonlark and I. 

 

 

It was a lot of fun, and we're working on coercing other CMs/GMs into joining us for a little singing. 

 

Next week, the community team will be at E3, the Electronics Entertainment Expo and will be recording video for you all to enjoy, but we won't be doing a tiki show that day. 

 

At the end of the month, Camp will be doing another producer Q&A thread, so we'll have that thread up soon for more development/production related questions. 

 

Going to spend more time during this week's show hunting bots.

- will the homunculus loyalty event still happen? If so, any tentative date when it'll start?

Camp is looking at when we can put this on the schedule. 
- update Granny boxter please. If possible to add Wickebine Ears and retain Hunting Cap and Mental Pots?

Hey Oda, just letting you know that looking at kRO update schedule from two years ago, we should be getting nightmare mode glast heim instance within two months. Sadly many friends have gone to play other games since nightmare toy factory was delayed, paramarket ignored, and no interesting updates so far, how about rushing kRO to send us the good stuff before more players get bored?

 

We've been working to get a big push for updates to get way more caught up with updates and content during the summer time.

Did the update to the database mess with some skills? I can't cast pile bunker with the new pile bunker P. It says "The skill cannont be used with this weapon." Pretty sure I was able to cast it last week.

 

Please create a ticket report with what character, what map and what item you were using so we can check.

We can consider it. Please do a /where where you'd like to see the coordinates and we'll see if it can be placed there. 

I think that "mora 41, 133" and "mora 41, 129" are good places to put them in

Can you give us an update on the list of enchants for the 15.1 gears (and what gears can be enchanted)?

I totally had a 3rd question but I can't quite remember it at 2:37am so I'm just gonna ask: what's your favourite animal? (please say otter or panda)

The "read" buttons on book items have been gone for a while now. I haven't notice anyone else bring it up yet.

 

Also, my thanks to whomever took it upon themselves to add Tabletop/Traditional Games to Other Stuff. I admit, it was on a tangent, so I half expected the iRORaidCall Dungeons & Dragons thread to end up buried in Off Topic months ago.

I know its late, but can we seriously have a committee for the implementation of shadow gears? Or even just have new shadow gears discussed before implementation, on whether or not they should be implemented?

Because there are a lot of ridiculous shadow sets from kRO. And I have no doubt a lot of them would reach here, be implemented it will be too late to do anything about it.

The Tempest shadow set is just for PVM.

 

At least those of us who can't afford or have no way of getting Sniper, Vesper and High Wizard Cards can attain the same level of damage that you can.

I don't have any of those cards. But I know how I can get them. Play the game. If you only play PVM content, good! You don't need the tempest set.

You don't even need to pour years into this game to reach the high end.

And you don't even need to beg for broken shadow gears while throwing money at your screen to do so.

I play the game to get them. But I don't want to wait 7 years before being actually able to be lucky enough get an MVP card to drop just like MilkyThief with his Thanatos card.

Also, fact: Even if you have the tempest set you aren't going to beat Zayaan's damage with Vesper + High Wizard.

 

What's wrong with playing the game for many years to get end gears? Isn't that better for the server's life span than having player get instant gratification through kafra shop and quit game sooner?

True, I won't be able to match Zayaan's damage if he has those MVP cards but with the Tempest set it will be easier for me to kill the MVPs who drop those cards.

 

I want the Tempest Set to make my PVM experience better Geez.
