Sry for the dumb question, I am trying to start out my 1st ninja, so have no ideia '-'

kunai ninja = stronger but more expensive to maintain, more versatile in term of elements, more spammable, more boring to play

 

magic ninja = can be stronger if you got good equips like +9 FAW spell19, +9 COD [KK] & RWC accesories with spell enchants.

 

basically you need a good financial support to play this class.

Each type has its pros and cons

Magic ninja by far can reach the highest DPS betweem the 2 builds, but it surelly requires more gear and its limited by enemy elements and has to deal with annoying mdef.

Kunai/physical ninja can use any element he wants, and its in general a bit cheaper to build, also easier to lvl. But it wont reach a DPS as absurd as magic one can.

suppose you make a hybrid between throwing and magic, would that work? or does it need uber gear to pull off decently?

when you say hybrid, why skill do you want to involve & which build do you prioritize? Anyway you need to bring 2 FAW all the time, 1 ranged & 1 magic FAW.

 

My kage currently have lvl 5 KE, lvl 5 SP & lvl 1 Blaze shield. Does that count as hybrid?

if the blaze shield only used as a precast or a ground control, not as a DPS, then it is a no.

hybrid doesnt really work succesfuly. You'll be just half assed at both

eh well, i was thinking about throw/magic hybrid.

with magic for single targets and throw huuma/swirling petals with elemental charms for mobs..

 

EDIT: probably gonna fail hard though, 1st ninja and all that.

EDIT2: what's "FAW"? i don't know much about the abbreviations and jargons in iro..

the one wich you enchant according to wich type of bonus you want. Expert Archer for ranged attacks, Spell for magic, etc

with patience you can get FAW for just 150m, with some luck you will get it to +9 some day

decided to just roll 2 ninjas, 1 throwing, and 1 magic.

the magic build is kinda easier to level though, because of heavy kunai weight and throw huuma is ground-target.

 

...maybe i'll stick to magic, yeah..

some people said that throw kunai leveling is much more faster than magic ninja leveling. That maybe true if you got good gears like +9 FAW ea10 that you can just one shot with one kunai throw.

 

But for people with low budget & got no good gear yet I think magic is much more easy to level.

 

Later on when you become Kage/Oboro you can switch to throwing build for AOE advantage with Swirling Petal + 16th Night.

Because yoy are still ninja, things will change when kage/oboro :v

low budget is the best budget :3
any tips on relatively cheap yet effective stuff? currently rocking the ninja suit/shinobi sash combo with eden gears for the rest.

 

 

ah well, I'm not really keen on getting to level 99 quickly, so i'm gonna spend a lot of time as a lowly ninja

 

 

people say I'm a slow grinder..

but really, I just grind with style..

Haha that's right Meowlissa, grind with confidence! ^.^ But yeah, throw and magic are both viable PvM wise. Throwing is just a bit tougher cuz single target and such...
