Hello All!,

It's been a few years since I've played (back in S1/Bloodymare and S2/Momento Mori) and I am sort of lost coming back. I definitely want to give S3 a try but I am a bit confused on the Trifri server and its PK state. Does the game only offer PK now? If so, is there an option for PvE only players?

I apologize if I have missed the answer to this as I tried searching before I posted.

Your only option is to avoid PK and don't get into the PK drama.

If you need more help or have more questions, feel free to PM me in game, my IGN is ihgyug.

Welcoem back Maho!

You came just in time, we will get the Anniversay Event and this will help you a lot. As for pve players, well well take the adivce from them and try to stay away from PK and PK Guilds. I am not updated so far with any PvE Guild left, but I bet we still have a few around. (Not everyone enjoys PK.. including me)

If you need help or so, give me a shout!

Thank you all very much for replying! I am definitely glad to be back!

I normally try to avoid PK at all costs, I just tend to be unlucky and find that ONE person in game who has it out for everyone LOL Is it okay to as what happened to all of the other servers? Has the population diminished? Last I played we had some amazingly fun server battles between Hammerine and Valdez. I still REALLY miss the giant deer that used to end us all in S1 XD

Edit: Also, I am unsure on what i have remaining on my old account. I have the information for all of them but I noticed quite a few empty spaces in my inventory bags. I have yet to venture to the bank to see what i had stored.

Also, are we allowed to discuss other games here as well?

Edit 2: Also, I am superbly lost on a Tempest and Radiant build now. I am just putting a point into everything to see what I like. Last time I used Tempest I pumped a bunch into heals (although it for Radiant) and took shields with DNA. I am so lost now LOL

it were good times indeed, svs full, batlefields were full lots of people , griding partys , but its all gone sadly

i dont think so, but wht games :P?

well, i dont know very well the temps and radis builds, i would advice you check on turan sub foruns, and try check it out, i can tell you from wht i see in comon, radiants players tend to go to build dmg, its more safe to play i think, since they got mana shield hush, sleep and lot of heals, tempest are more squishy, just sleep and cast those 3 aoes and repeat, i will repeat i dont know those classes very well but is wht i see 90% time

PVE players almost disappeared because after many many years, since we were forced to a pk server, the devs/Helium/staff were unable to fix the bug with pk shield (we got another empty promise when they deleted Nova.... years pass, bug not fixed). It means if you have pk shield you cannot party with no-pk-shield, and you cannot get buff too. So how can someone stay PvE? Maybe only those who doesn't play at all.

Thank you so much for replying! I am such a fickled player. I like the heals of a radiant but the skills of the Tempest. It was much easier to tamper with wild builds when it was PvE haha

I am sad to hear that all of the amazing things that made this game so incredible are gone. I am rather uncertain on what to do in the game now then other than grind to 80? 90? or PvP. None of those options sound appealing at the moment  :heh:

As for other games, I was wondering if some of you might also play other titles like Riders of Icarus, Tera, or Aion. I so wish this game would come back to life how it was. Is it silly to think that just a little bit of advertisement could draw a new crowd and new opportunities for it to bring back the "old" fun?

Maho <3

Edit: @Dyshana: That sounds most unfortunate :( I REALLY don't want to be drawn into PvP. I really enjoy questing and exploring the terrain. Silly question perhaps, does it help if you simply tell others on the map that you don't want to PvP?

Nope, dokdo will pk you regardless of what you say.
Make sure to join a guild that is completely neutral. That will help

For 80-90 there are daily quests at 70 and 85, they are pretty easy and give enormous amount of exp... (they must be unlocked with a quest chain):

I'm totally against pk (coz some stupid players have nothing else than killing someone else more and more time). Luckily I still have on all my char the pk shield (got at the server merge when they deleted Nova server), but as said cannot party  with many other... if I want to raid the best option would be to dual log.... but's it's not unny and boring... so better not to raid.

I played Aion with an awesome Spiritmaster...awesome game, still have some video of me soloing instances. But the european version wasn't the greatest at all, especially in the last years. Regarding bring back to life this game how it was...working on it =) Also, if you join a neutral guild, you shouldn't have many problems, but there is always some dick head that randomly PK.

@ElfLord: Oh great >.< I made a guild a long time ago I really don't want to lose. Are guild alliances possible?

@Dyshana: I will take a looksie at those quests and links :) Another silly questions. How do you know if you have a PK shield? My characters (I assume) were merged as well and I haven't done any quests just wandered around Nova Lux and Turba. Are all old accounts automatically shielded?

@Kazara: HA! Yeah on Aion I have a Cleric :) I tend to play the "dark side" which is quite ironic speaking a few of my friends are Elyos! We had quite a bit of fun there. I haven't been there in a few months due to school. I like that I can run from their PvP system  :heh: Also, as to working on getting the game back...that sounds fantastic! I'd say the ONE form of PvP I liked was the server battles. That was SO MUCH fun! At least I knew what I was getting into there haha

You can check if you have the shield in 2 ways: looking at yourself (your name is in white and there is a shield icon) or from the character window, you should see your shield will end in something like 15.000 days. If your characters were on Nova, you should have the shield.

BE CAREFUL: in Nova Lux you can buy a remove shield tool... but if you remove it, you cannot get it back.... so don't remove it too fast xD

Sadly, it seems that none of my characters have the shield. I had to rename them from either Valdes (most were Valdes since it was non PvP) or Hammerine. Somehow all of the inventories were combined in the bank as well so I have no clue what I lost or what as kept as they were two different servers. I also noticed that my guilds have been listed as hostile although they were from Valdes? :p_err:  *so lost*

Oh Valdes, so surely you haven't the shield (it was only from Nova ... there were 2 server merge... and it seems you missed both, only the last one gave you the shield).

About the bank slots, there were a lot of problems immediately after the last merge, but I think they fixed all the problems, so you shouldn't have lost anything. In previous updates/events it happened they deleted some stuff (like the boxes from the level jump, not big lost), but it was random and I think nobody has ever care about what they deleted by mistake.

About the guild - not sure - but I think it just indicates the guild can partecipate in guild wars (and all the guilds do it... for the buffs)
