Hi,

 

I've tried using the Pegasus client to check on the upcoming updates.

 

It keeps crashing with a runtime error after clicking on the start button.

 

I've had it check all files but it hasn't solved the problem.

 

Is this a known fault atm?

Not having any issues and I've seen a lot of people on Pegasus so I'd suggest uninstalling and re-installing using the link in this topic  Pegasus Lab

 

Once you have installed it and it's patched to the current version, you should hopefully be able to log in. 

 

I'll leave this thread open so please let me know if you still have the issue after a clean re-install.

Perhaps it would help if you make a screenshot of the error or something, but as cupcake suggested you might be better off uninstalling the pegasus client (Make sure to remove the folder) and re-installing it.

I'll post a pic later but can't do it 'till later tonight.

 

Error shows as a Microsoft C++ Runtime error but no code number/error number.

 

I'll try and reinstall later tonight after I post the pic

If you are having issues with the official installer, give the unofficial version a try.  You can find download links here.

Hi - got in too late last night to do this sry.

 

Here are the screen shots - one shows the error, the other shows the version number for the Pegasus client (in case that's wrong).

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'll try downloading now and see if it will install ok - back in a bit with the results.

I just tried downloading both versions of the client for Pegasus lol

 

The "unofficial" version of 1.1 GB has finished downloading

 

While the official version is only at 57MB of 853 MB    

 

Come on Rose - get a faster download speed - if only to get new players not to go away while waiting for the download

Ummm - I know this will sound stupid but - what do I do with the unofficial version?

 

When I open it it looks like just a copy of the Pegasus folder - but how do I get it to install onto my system?

 

See - I said it was a stupid question  

 

Btw the official version is still downloading lol - at 310 MB right now

The unofficial version does not need to be installed anywhere specific, just extract it anywhere and run RoseOnline.exe to patch and launch the game as normal.

Ooops - a patching failed message - so I'm telling it to recheck and download missing files - patching takes a time doesn't it

Thx everyone for the help

 

It finally completed the updating and it seems to work just fine now.

 

Not sure I'm going to totally like the update to Arua tomorrow since my 3 chars I did try again on Pegasus all died way too easily again  

 

But will work with the resets etc to try and sort out my chars.
