hello Homunculus Masters, would a Vanilmirth be the best base Homunculus for a Sera in terms of MATK?(cause Poison Mist is MATK based right?? if not please correct me)

 

I've read some other thread that says Amistr is the best base for a Sera(in terms of tanking purposes) to utilize its Pain Killer + A.Bulwark. but then again i've read also that an Amistr base is a pain in the @$s cause it has no offensive skill and low ASPD. Disregarding the fact that when Homunculus S stats kick in, it would mean additional stats(so maybe less of a pain)

 

On the other hand, a Vanilmirth base can have a decent ASPD/ATK/SP/HP and has instruction change and a ranged offensive skill, maybe a jack of all trades kind of Homunculus

 

what's your say? what would be a better base homunculus?

Honestly depends on yourself. Don't bother too much about buffing your homun. Sera's job is just to PK you, maybe call legion some mvps. You dont expect your sera to be killing stuffs with poison mist at higher levels dont you.

 

For sera, I'll recommend Filir, for super fast leveling since sera doesnt offer any capabilities to tank well. Vanil is decent too for sera, but imo not much difference (unless you plan to brew)

 

For poison mist dmg, it's not something even worth considering. Aim for endgame, not leveling purposes. If you must know, poison mist dmg dont really vary much (to be significant enough) between base homuns. Go take a look at OD2
