As I am contemplating my life choices, I would like to know if it's possible to rebirth extended classes. I have made a Gunslinger, he is at level 99, I'm at Juno but nothing is happening. If they can't then I'm going to have to buy several Reset Stones to fix my stats  .

Sorry for the noob question. But the mesmerist still exists!? If it does, what are the requirements/constraints of the reset (e.g. up to lvl 40 only / pre-transcend only)?

even if you are novice or 3rd job you can use mesmerist to reset. You only got 1 reset per char, so use it wisely.

It's 2 reset per character with mesmerist in Eden first floor. I tested it yesterday and can confirm this.

Just to correct the thread title, Rebirth is synonymous to Transcendence afaik. ^^

the expanded class does not rebirth nor they transcend, they just changed to 2nd class.

 

Swordman/Gunslinger = 1st class

Knight/Rebel = 2nd class

 

well Rebel & K/O are more like a 2.5th class since they are actually a 2nd class char that exceed the the level 99 barrier.

Thanks for bringing this up. The official statement says everyone will get 1 extra but it turns out it was actually 2.

 

Before this 2 extra reset there was another 2 extra reset and I've used up them both.

 

Now at the 4th reset finally my Rebel's skill set is finally purrrfect, so happy now

I have an assassin cross 99/70 and I cannot find the way to rebirth (or is it transcend?). That it means I cannot be a guillotine cross?

 

I play in Chaos server, and I read that I can use a reset stone to do the quest for guillotine cross, but I have no idea how can I get one…  I tried to find the Weekly Turn-In Events, Merry Badger in Eden group, search among merchands… nothing! (I have to say I don’t want to spend real money…)

 

Any idea? Or is it that in Chaos server there is not the option? Thx!!

Assassin Cross is the transcendent 2nd class (You were a Novice>Thief>Assassin 99/50<Rebirth/Transcend>High Novice>High Thief>Assassin Cross>Guillotine Cross. You already went through the rebirth process which is why you are able to achieve the Assassin Cross job. You either need a Reset/Magical Stone or get a VIP subscription (lowest is 2$ for 7 day) for the GX job change quest. You can get them by doing bounty boards. Take all quests, finish them, turn them all in at the same time for each board to be awarded one Eden Merit Badge. If you are VIP you get 2 EMB for each Turn In All. You repeat this process until you get 8 EMB. Then head to Merry Badger and turn the 8 EMB into 1 Reset/Magical Stone. You can try buying it off a vendor from the ragial list here. Or you can do Gramps TI, kill 400 of each type of monster after taking the quests, turn in for 1 EMB per kill quest (2 for VIP). Also if you are Non-VIP you can only pick one kill quest at a time VIP can pick both quests at the same time. You need to finish the first one, turn it in to get the second one. Each Gramps TI quest has a cool down of 23 hours. For more info on them, visit this page.

 

Since you're already maxed out, I suggest you try to see if you took any Bounty Board quests when you were starting. Otherwise you can create a new character and do them on said character, accumulate the EMB, exchange for the stone, store it and have your SinX pick it up for the job change quest. If you don't have outstanding quests on the SinX, I suggest doing the Hugel ones from the Bounty Board page because it requires you to kill just 2 mobs that spawn in large numbers in the maps and you get 1 EMB per turn in. If you have EDP, the hunt will be over much faster. Plus you're capped so even if you die, you won't lose any exp. You can also try doing the 81-100 boards and others like it that allow you to pick the bounty quests at your level since you won't be able to reach level 100 as the trans 2nd classes are capped at 99. But there is a huge risk if you proceed with this method. While I did say you won't level up if you do quests, the Base EXP you accumulate will still be stored on your character. This means, once you job change to GX, killing a monster or dying will cause all the extra EXP to rush in and cause you to level up to Base 100. You fore-go the free Skill Reset from the Hypnotist but if you are confident about your current skillset, you can move ahead without issues. So make sure you get all the pre-requisite ones right. Or, once you job change you can simply bwing back to your save and head to Prontera or Izlude, reset your skills and see which GX skills have what corresponding pre-requisites from the Thief and Assassin skill tree.

My issue is that I have already tried those options…

 

I cannot find the Bounty Board NPCs This is the idea that I really like more, but the sign isn't there. Did you do this in the Chaos server? I checked the places of them even with the coordinates… and found nothing =S

 

And when I go to the Eden group place, there is not the NPC called Gramps either.

 

The ragial market shows who is vending the magical stone, right? but once again, I cannot find any of them in my server…

So it's two not 1? Does this even apply to Thor? Maybe i'll try it later. 

 

My real concern really is that why can't Rebel stay 99 forever. Is it working as intended? I really want to stay 99 to use Hypnotist anytime I want to.   It's hard if you can only reset 2 times from Mesmerist.

or maybe you can suggest a base exp on/off sam in job exp
so that one specific exp only gaining the exp hihihihi to avoid level down consuming time
