So with all the shadow gear debate and what not, I got to thinking of what class specific shadow gear would look like, and thought I'd try and combine the idea with what the class hats were all about, so, I came up with the following ideas to buff under-used or under developed ideas within a class. Some of these ideas are quirky and gimicky, some of them may be OP, and some of them may not make sense at all. I just wanted to start a conversation on it. Would love other people to put their 2 cents in on what these sets should look like. Notice, I did not choose any AoE skills cause I was not concerned with leveling when I wrote this up.



Assassin Set "Rending Shadow Set"

Rending Weapon - Increases attack of Soul Destroyer by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9
Rending Earring - Decrease skill delay of Soul Destroyer by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9
Rending Pendant - Decrease variable cast time of Soul destroyer by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Increase Soul Destroyer damage by an additional 10%, decrease skill delay and variable cast time of soul destroyer by 1% for each refine level of the set. If total refine is 28, increased ranged damage by 20%.



Rogue Set "Cheater's Shadow Set"

Cheater's Weapon - Increase damage reflected by Counter Instinct by 2%, 4% at +7, and another 4% at +9

Cheater's Shield - Decrease received ranged damage by 2%, 3% at +7, and another 4% at +9

Cheater's Pendant - Increase damage of Back Stab by 1%. 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Autocasts Backstab at a 25% chance when reflecting an attack through Counter Instinct. For every 2 total refine level decrease incoming ranged damage by 1%. If total refine level is 28 Backstab will ignore 50% of Target's defense.



Wizard Set "Maelstrom Shadow Set"

Maelstrom Weapon - Increase damage of Waterball by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Maelstrom Earring - Increase damage of Sight Trasher by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Maelstrom Pendant - Increase damage of Jupitel Thunder by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Waterball can be cast without water under the user's feet. For every upgrade of the set Waterball, Sight Trasher, and Jupitel Thunder increase in damage by 2%, if total refine level is 28 reduce fixed cast time by .25 seconds



Sage Set "Siphon Shadow Set"

Siphon Weapon - Increase damage of Soul Siphon by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Siphon Earring - Reduce cast delay of Soul Exhale by .5s, .5s at +7, and another .5s at +9

Siphon Pendant - Increase chance of Soul Siphon success by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Increase damage of Soul Siphon by 200%, for every 2 refine of the set, increase success of Soul Siphon by 1%. If total refine level is 28, Soul Siphon will drain the target of 5% of their HP and heal the user by the amount taken.



Crusader Set "Bulwark Shadow Set"

Bulwark Shield - Increase damage of Rapid Smiting by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Bulwark Armor - Reduce Damage from Neutral element by 1%, 2% at +7. and another 3% at +9. Increase damage from other elements by 20%

Bulwark Shoes - Increase MDEF by 1, 1MDEF at +7, and another 1MDEF at +9

Set Bonus: Rapid Smiting Ignores Flee, for every refine of the set decrease damage from non neutral elements by 1%. If total refine is 28, increase damage of Rapid Smiting by 500%



Knight Set "Dynamo Shadow Set"

Dynamo Weapon - Decrease cast delay of Spear Dynamo by .3s, another .3s at +7, and .4s at +9

Dynamo Armor - Increase damage with spear weapons by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Dynamo Shoes - Increase Movement Speed on a mount by 3%, 3% at +7, and another 4% at +9

Set Bonus: Increase damage of Spear Dynamo by 200%, every refine level increases damage by an additional 1%, if total refine is 28, Spear Dynamo Ignores Flee




Hunter Set "Piercing Shadow Set"

Piercing Weapon - Decrease delay of Focused Arrow Strike by .1s, .2s at +7, and another .2s at +9

Piercing Earring - Decrease cast time of Focused Arrow strike by 3%, 3% at +7, and another 4% at +9

Piercing Pendant - Increase Skill damage by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Focused Arrow Strike always crits, for each 2 refine of the set increase ranged damage by 1%. If total refine is 28, increased Focused Arrow Strike damage by 300%



Performer Set "Melody Shadow Set"

Melody Weapon - Increase ASPD by 1%, 2% at +7, and another 1 at +9

Melody Earring - Decrease Cast Delay of Unbarring Octave, Pang Voice, and Dazzler by 2%, 3% at +7, and 5% at +9

Melody Shoes - Increase movement speed by 2%, 3% at +7, and 5% at +9

Set Bonus: Songs last an extra minute, for every 3 refine level of the set increase movement speed when performing by 1%. If total refine is 28, increase damage of Melody Strike and Slinging Arrow by 3000%



Priest Set "Judgement Shadow Set"

Judgement Weapon - Increase attack by 10, 10 at +7, and an additional 10 at +9

Judgement Shoes - Increase ASPD by 2%, 3% at +7, and an additional 5% at +9

Judgement Pendant - Increase crit by 2, 3 at +7, and an additional 4 at +9

Set Bonus: Attack increased by 50%, for every refine increase crit by 1. If total refine is 28 add a chance to autocast Lex Aterna (10%) and Impostio Manus(10%) when physically attacking.



Monk Set "Occult Shadow Set"

Occult Weapon - Decrease cast time of Occult Impactation by 2%, 3% at +7, and an additional 5% at +9

Occult Shoes - Increase Def and Mdef by 1, 2 at +7, and an additional 2 at +9

Occult Pendant - Increase SP recovery by 1%, 2% at +7, and an additional 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Adds a 10% chance skills won't require use of spirit spheres, for every 3 refine this chance is increased by 1%. If total refine is 28, increase damage of Occult Impactation by 200%



Alchemist Set "Overgrown Shadow Set"

Overgrown Weapon - Increase damage from Summoned Flora by 5%, 5% at +7, and an additional 5% at +9

Overgrown Shield - Increase damage of Summoned Marine Spheres by 5%, 5% at +7, and an additional 5% at +9

Overgrown Armor - Decrease damage from Plant Monsters and Earth element bt 1%, 2% at +7, and an additional 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Summoned Monsters cannot be damaged by Players. For every refine level increase damage of summoned monsters by 1%, if total refine is 28, summoned monsters will share buffs (including equipment buffs) with the player and will receive 75% of the player's attack.



Blacksmith Set "Greedy Shadow Set"

Greedy Weapon - Increase crit damage by 1%, 2% at +7, and an additional 3% at +9

Greedy Earring - Increase attack by 2%, 4% at +7, and an additional 6% at +9

Greedy Armor - Decrease damage from neutral property by 1%, 2% at +7, and an additional 3% at +9

Set Bonus: Reduce Zeny and SP cost of skills by 50%. For every refine level increase crit damage by 1%. If total refine is 28, there will be a 7% chance when auto-attacking that auto attacks will deal increased damage based on the enemy's defense for the next three seconds, unable to lengthen effect by procing again in said 3 seconds.





Super Novice Set "Green Shadow Set"

Green Shield - Increase Maximum HP by 1% every 2 refine

Green Shoes - Increase Maximum SP by 1% every 2 refine

Green Pendant - Increase Attack and Magic Attack by 1% every 2 refine.

Set Bonus: Increase all stats by 3. For every 3 refine increase ATK, MATK, MHP, and MSP by 2%. If total refine is 28, attacks and magic attacks will ignore 50% of defense and magic defense.
