Hi,

 

I have a lvl 136 Gene with the following build and decent (I think) equips:

90 str

90 vit

90 int

90 dex

With some unused points.

 

Equips worth to mention:

+9 uncarded EMH

+9 uncarded RWH

+9 uncarded FAW EA9

+9 Temp Dex BP EA4

+7 RTE (AS x3)

+9 uncarded Immune Shield

Physical Set

Malicious Set

 

So with the "decent" equips I have I tried soloing the OGH instance and boy was I dumbfounded. I only hit around 30k (or was that 20k? not sure) with CC using Holy Cannons and the mobs' HP are around 100k+ T_T. I saw some twitch users streaming solo OGH with ease and they are at least 1shotting/2shotting the mobs so I thought I can too. XD

 

Questions:

1. Is there a specific equip/item buff that I need to solo the instance?

2. What cards do you recommend on my uncarded equips?

You need a shield, Alice carded for 2nd floor and MVPS and another general one (raydrics hurt). 

 

Weapon wise, AK carded weapon will do a lot better dmg after the raydrics stage, current one is decent enough to take you to the 1st mvp.

 

I personally use HF and DR FAW and powershot my way through (with AB buffs ^_^)

 

Also, remember evil armor is probably the most important "gear" for this instance

All the mobs there besides maggots and Root are undead and a Teddy Bear card could be used :v

alright. My current weapon renders only around 20-30k CC damage to Ghouls. I don't think I can solo with that damage output. XD

You can boost damage by wearing WPH+Alarm Mask. Helps save pots. Or if u can use slims u can you boost DMG by switching to Gozarian mask.
I'd suggest u try OGH on gen after hitting 150.
Holy Balls all the way and Iron on the first MVP/maggots.

Conclusion: I'm not yet ready for solo OGH 

 

I'll try again after gaining more levels and saving enough money for other equips.

You're actually strong enough, even have the gears to do so.

 

If you're not confident, why not bring someone with you? GX, ranger, ab all work well with you

yeah im not confident enough since i saw the twitch stream of a gene/ranger soloing the instance and they were one shotting some of the mobs. although im pretty sure their equips are all top of the line.

ill try again when i get back on my desktop

Just take it slower, I ogh on my gene when it was 130 (exp is good), though I had a tank and AB to support me
