Heya, Long term Rose Online player.

 

I mainly played Cleric on and off through my 6-7 years of playing and levelling slowly whilst enjoying the game.

 

The recent release has made me baffled, I can no longer play a full support Cleric since I run out of mana all the time and I die pretty quickly now at level 212 getting 1 hit by CoU sub bosses. My build is the same as before Buffs + Heals and I am going for 400Cha, 235Int and rest Dex and simply now find the game extremely hard to level up in/progress.

 

So I'm hanging up my costume and most likely going to lay back, wait for a FS Guide to be released.

I would stay and try to work it out myself but I only have 9 hours left on my free resets and I can't afford to buy resets in this game.

 

I love playing Rose Online and has been one of the games I have always come back to and enjoyed over and over.

(I have supported this game in the past when I was able to buy IM on multiple accounts, that's how much love I have for it)

Don't give up permanently, those Bosses in Dungeons need some tweaking, because they're 1 shotting players on any critical skill hit. And I'm talking about Champs with like 35k HP getting 25k crits, then on the next 8k hit, die. If you're under that 25k HP Maximum, it's a one hit KO.

If you want to try out builds I hear Pegasus (the test server) is a good way to do it, if it's still online, I'm not sure.

As Knubbis91 pointed out, Pegasus is open for testing still! The current client has not been updated with the most recent live server changes for Damage over Time effects, but other than that it should be the same as what you will experience on the live server.

I know you're discouraged by these updates I'm pretty sure you'll find a walkaround if you give it a try.

We currently don't have much trouble doing dgs...

I know Pegasus is open still, I have been on it but I don't want to level to 230 just to try a few builds on Pegasus. It would be a lot nicer if there was a command to just get instant 230 on Pegasus since it's just a test server. Thanks for the suggestion though

Pegasus last had an update to the character data on June 1st, you should be able to log in to Pegasus on your character where they were at that time, though if you just recently leveled up your character then it would still be where it was on June 1st.

I hear ya. I started playing Rose since iRose. Have gone thru many changes (naRose, Evolution, free, pay to play, free again), but this last one really has been a let down. I am not motivated one bit to play the game until they properly balance it. I don't have as much time as I did before to fool around testing and modifying all my characters, not to mention all the zulie one loses with the changes on acquired gear and gems and such.
