i want to try leveling my chaser again. i always with IB, and i want to look for fresh air. i plan to do SR. with current gears on iRO, what do you think the performance of SR vs big bells? can i oneshot them when hawkeye comes?
this is my plan:
top: +9 RWH
mid: incubus BDM
low: pirate dagger
armor: heroic hiding cloth (probably bahory card)
weapon: orc archer bow (any better option?)
grment: +9 FAW ea10 deviling
shoes: temp dex boots ea4 hawkeye
accs: 2x bako tats, or 2x pendant of maelstorm gold scaraba
shadow gears will be physical set coupled with spellflow set. if i manage to maneuver well, i will use malicious set instead.

current level is 160, all stats resetted (plan to 120 dex, 100 agi, 80 vit, 80 int).
my strategy will be casting SR, then feint bomb since chaser has better survival when it come to SR compared to performers (bring SR posbug fix ASAP!).
foods, i think i will just use takoyakis since i am too cheap for +20 foods.
anybody wants to share some experience there?
please dont suggest future gears since i dont want to wait that long.

wouldnt mobs tele away if they were hit while you are in the "gm" invisible state of feint bomb?

anyways, i had friends who tried AS builds there and said that while they do can kill, it requires like 4~5 AS to finish off a mob, and they leveled with Blaze Shield + PWave with RM proc instead.

big bells cant tele, so it is safe. blah, i am fed up with AS. 30-40k dmg per 3s, requires 5 AS to kill a mob, or 15 secs (more, if you are kiting).
blaze shield + pwave seems pretty good damage wise, but i hate switching gears to mitigate SP loss, requires a lot of SP items, and waiting for Runaway Magic to proc using blaze shield is really random, i cant estimate my killing time and how many boards i could do per BMx3.

if i can 2 shots with SR, means i have 14s killing time and more reliable SP and HP leech.

okay, i did some calculation using irowiki calculator. using the best approach as possible since most of the gears is outdated. with my setup

my SR damage to big bell is

5407 x 12 = 64884

when hawkeye comes at full force (the hawkeye activated before casting, not in the middle of SR)

15912 x 12 = 191148

 

so in battle i think i can 1 or 2 shots the bigbells. just need to utilize the timing well.

The two methods I got it to work on NCT so far were:

 

1) Rainstorm into Hawkeye into Feint Bomb. Because your Dex value on Feint Bomb is mutliplied THREE TIMES by three diffect factors, when hawkeye procs that makes Feint Bomb hits like a freight truck. It's kinda of a "needy" method since I can't afford tho mob less than 5 because I rely on Hawkeye procc to kill them in one go, but It's reliable because the ammount of times SR hits an enemy. I level with vip buffs and SP items just because Hawkeye hurts there.

 

2) Stack ASPD gear to get 193, copy Shield spell (no really) and use whatever else you have for damage. I used Lucky Day because... stuff.

 

 

On the second one you can use whatever do more damage, but for the first one I use a Catapult with hunterfly cards. It's required to survive to do that since you don't have a shield. I don't think it's doable without a deviling either, but I never tested it.
