wake up its not 2003 anymore, welcome to 2016 and Renewal mechanics.

 

1) Learn to use EDP & leech gear properly and you dont have to worry about flee penalty.

 

2) Weapon Blocking is not meant to be used with RC.

 

3) Do some research before posting something as retarded as these. GX 101: EDP

 

4) Learn to Cloacking or Clocking Exceed.

Actually it works with RC until the attack-range of monster is lengthen...

it doesnt prevent the usage of skills when it activates; I personally use it on some MVPs as an extra layer of defence though it can make mob-levelling less efficient

Hey, you're right! It does seem to stop auto-attacking, but that doesn't matter much in the context of leveling. 

 

I guess you can use it as a poor man's parry/guard without the major drawback of it canceling your attack/skill.

Sure it doesnt prevent use of skill but it does stop my RC spamming in which will severely drop my DPS when mobbing. That 1 block from it is not worth it since potting & leeching gear can recover the loss of HP. And since you are mobbing WB will proc a lot more, in which case will drop the DPS even more.

 

But if you are MVPing or PVPing** well thats a different story because they hit harder. *WB does not block skill atk like Guard or Parry

 

The point is they are meant to be used with Counter Slash/Weapon Crush. I've seen a some jRO/kRO that MVPing with Counter Slash, pretty cool but they have equips that we dont have.

not entirely sure which skills WB can block but it can save you from a Gfist

It blocks the same things as parry/guard.
You can use a randel garment Guard lv3 + Weapon Blocking at same time for higher block chance

Apthough i am not a very good gx player out of the people in this topic, but why are you walking on a thief class? I thought everyone backslides like i do.

sometimes position lag are quite annoying like backslide but your character go forward, so sometimes walk better. it easier than bingbing bangbang all the time

Because backslide uses sp and im usually overweight, and dont bring sp supplies :v
