Is there a minimum log in requirement so my account, items and zeny don't get deleted if I decide to take a break for a long while?

As long as you haven't given someone else your account details, your account, chars and gear will still be there when you come back, as long as iRO survives.

Would zeny go down over time during inactivity?

You can also ask the GM team to freeze(suspend) the account during your absence as an extra security measure.

Your zeny won't decrease, but it will lose value due to inflation unless a major zeny sink is implemented between now and when you come back.

It's really hard to tell. Equipment can lose value as well when new and better equipment is added to the game.

Makes sense. Maybe do half and half I guess just to feel a bit more secure.
