Hello, I am sort of new and i have just reached my first 99/50 and now I want to reborn but I don't know where to deposit my zeny, I have 15m a random player gave me.

You'll need to find someone you trust to hold it for you, or if you have a second account, you can trade it to a character on that account.

At least on the Renewal server, zeny is carried forward after you pay the relevant amount to the npc for Non-VIP accounts (VIP have their fees waived). So you don't have to worry about holding just enough and losing the rest. You do not have to be at 0 weight as well. But if this is for Classic, then follow the guide on iRO Wiki for it.

Just make another account with a 1/1 novice on it (but make sure it's on the same Warpportal account so the trade doesn't raise suspicion)

 

And like NoDice said, if you're on Renewal, don't really need to have exactly 1.25M or whatever that number was, the zeny won't be lost and doesn't need moving

the system has changed on renewal. now you can rebirth with more than required zeny. so, no need to deposit it to someone

You can be holding any amount of zeny, and up to 2000 weight. This has been changed on iRO renewal servers over a year ago

Would this also be true for non VIP accounts?

Yes. The up to 2000 weight is also so that when you change into a High Novice you don't end up getting 50% or 90% overweight. Because in either cases, unless you have the basic skill to access storage you'll have to trade the excess to an alt before you can go hunt.

before you go in the valkyrie

buy 1 of these each

lvl4 mercenary swordsman or any thats fits you
increase hp/ sp potions
guarana candy
awakes or berserk potion for swordie
all + 20 foods or equivalent

before you speak the valkyire open all the stuffs
you are now invincible novice high

You dont need to pop em before rebirth, only the aspd potion at most. Mercenaries only have lvl req in order to buy them, not to use, and +20 foods are a waste of money as a novice

oh i see the renewal rebirth system is now improve i see im on the old system
yup you can also buy lvl 6 mercenary to do the kill for you just dont use play dead you will not have exp on the kill of the mercenary happens to me a lot i play dead afk in ant helm eggs no exp huhuhu sadlife the mercenary expire in still lvl 1
and oh the + 20 foods+ increase hp combination is when you want to explore novice training areas to level
just 1 of each its not very expensive str/agi/dex foods only huehuehue
