So, i go back to Ignition Break since i found it is most suitable to me (my playstyle).

okay, i gave up leveling here using Arrow Storm and Severe Rainstorm. AS takes long, SR is a suicide (feint bomb hits like a truck here, about 50-60k damage when hawkeye procs), really hate when i run out of SP and forgot to SP pot, or when i stuck on corners when performing feint bomb or back slide.

 

That's the reason why i switched back to IB. For a lazy leveler like me who doesnt bring a lot of supplies and gears to switch, i found IB chaser is pretty simple and effective.

 

Here's the deal:

Hello, i want to share my Shadow Chaser leveling method using Ignition Break skill. This method is pretty cheap consumable-wise since you are immortal from HP and SP leeching.

 

Level 165

Job 53

Str: 120+19

Agi: 1+12

Vit: 90+17

Int: 85+15

Dex: 90+12

Luk: 77+16

 

Equipment:

Top: +9 Rideword Hat (Archangeling Carded)

Mid: Haxagon Spectacles (Archangeling Carded)

Low: Blood Sucker

Armor: +4 Hero Hidden Cloth (Bathory Carded)

Weapon: +9 Red Twin Edge of Naght Sieger (3x Hunter Fly Carded)

Shield: +4 Round Buckler (Penomena Carded)

Garment: +9 Heroic Backpack (Deviling Carded)

Shoes: +4 Temporal Str Boots / Bear Power

Accessories: 2x Pendant of Maelstorm (Gold Scaraba Carded)

 

Shadows:

Costume Goggles, Kingbird Weapon, Power Earring, Power Pendant, Malicious Armor, Malicious Shield, Malicious Shoes

 

Etc: Incubus Pet 

Consumables: Takoyaki, Yellow Trans Candy, Pumpkins, Strawberries, Green Potions

 

Key points:

- Stacking leech gears to maximize HP leeching for immortality, and SP leech to save strawberries. My HP leech is 21% chance to leech 70% damage as HP. My SP leech is 2% chance to leech 13% damage as SP.

- Regular damage to big bells: 22-24k. When atk bonus from red twin naght sieger sword, hero hidden cloth, and bear's power proc. The damage can go as high as 54k.

 

Using 1 bmx3, i can finish about 2,5 bounty board, that's already good IMO. Yeah, compared to GXes which can finish 3 to 4 boards per bmx3.

What are your plans for this chaser end-game? will this SC be used for WoE/PVP? or just PVM?

should be for instances and MVPs (pvm), my pvp-woe char is my robot and i love my robot.

btw i will reset my chaser to aspd build when i reach 175/60. doing IB route is just for easy leveling

with current setup, is the SP leech proc quite often? or you still depend on sp consumables sometimes ?

 

I do have similar setup with my Chaser, but I use +9 Vana as +9 RWH substitute also minus the Incubus Pet and I still got SP problems even though I usually mobbed 6-7 enemies at one time by dealing 18k-19k IB damage. So in order to cover the SP issue, I also depend on moonlight dagger and adding some agi points to my chaser build for sp leeching purpose.

i still use about 100 strawberries per 30 mins.
the chance is kinda on and off. sometimes i can maintain 10 mins without any strawberries. sometimes i need to spam berries to give another try (my SP left is below 110 -> use strawberries till SP over 110 -> IB -> if leech works then it is a bless, if not i need to use straw until my SP 110 to give another IB try. keep doing it until the leech comes. then repeat when your SP below 110 again)

should be, but i am too lazy to cast BB in IB cooldown. also i hate when my preserve skill got dispelled by manager then overwritten by marquis lightning bolt. so i dont bother on using intimidated skill.

I thought Blood sucker stops HP and SP Regen? then why you have AA card on Headgear?

it doesnt stop regen, i believe it only reduce regen by 100% (0% SP regen if you have base value of 100%). by using AA card the value doubled and becomes 200%, so with blood sucker it becomes 200%-100%=100% regen or your regular regen.

^ That is correct, I noticed the same thing with a pendant of harmony and with the bonus from the malicious shadow set. It just reduces it by 100% but does not disable it the way being over 50% weight does.

I leveled my chaser yesterday from 115 to 120. I used AS and stuck with Kobolds. I'm planning to go on IB/BB route but using bow.

 

Here's what I have:

 

+9 OAB (Will change to +11 Catapult and will card it with 2x Hunterfly)

+9 Vanargand Helm (Uncarded)

+9 HBP Menblatt (Will change to +7 Immune Nidd Garb)
+8 Orleans Gown (Procellio card) Vit +3

Variant shoes
Advance ROFL

Bradium Brooch (Creamy card)

Incu pet

 

and I have the Normal shadow armor set (the ones that you get from Mysterious bug).

 

Now if you notice my equip are cheap as . I'm the kind of player that does not want to spend money on consumables as much as possible so I carry a healing clip with me .

 

I'm also looking to buy a blast clip to further increase damage. Does Magnum Break and Sightless Mind stack?

I'm a noob when it comes to leveling because before, I always had an AB with me wherever I go....but she left me..its been 2 years . So I have no choice but to face every monster by myself and I need suggestions. Thanks!

sell your +11 catapult and buy better gears lol.

Unfortunately nobody wants it. If I'm not mistaken,  Catapult is the strongest bow a chaser can equip when it comes to melee skills like BB/IB? + 2 slots. It's a shame because I want to card it with 2 hydra cards for PVP use but I need to focus on leveling first.

 

Plus when using my OAB, there are times when I need to farm elu's first from Golems then create steel arrows from it, yeah that's how cheap I am.

Use burning horse-shoes for steel arrows, faster/cheaper than using elu. Lighter, too. 

 

Also, do not use a double hydra carded catapult in PVP. In fact, don't try to kill with a chaser at all in PVP. 

 

Use freezing spells or flying kick and windmill. You'll cause more people to die just by disabling them than triangle shot ever could kill on its own.

since severe is bug position is fixed, i hink its time to SR than AS, +HE proc quite often with it
