Hi.

 

I thought I would try and make a guide for how to level new characters. I have gotten it down to 3 easy steps:

Step 1) Sell 1000 KP for Zeny

Step 2) Buy these 3 items

Step 3) Run around aggro mobs and take damage

???

Profit

This is a horrible idea to do with out dark lord card. Moreover, this is only good for low level monsters. Most people will end up kill stealing your mob before you can even kill it.

I leveled a champion from 70 to 99 minutes in 15 using a dark lord on it. Was pretty topkek to do :v Can pretty much level any class with it actually. Great for EMB farming Low TI.

DL also works wonders in most Mid TIs if you have a Salamander garment. Doesn't do too well in High unless the mobs are both weak to fire.

Or buy Dark Lords xD

 

The ability to 1-99 any character in the game in under an hour is pretty handy.

 

I guess I could remake the video, How to level every character the same way with 1 item... lol

Personally I would use a +7 Leaf Cat Hat and a High Orc shield instead of a Filir Hat. The +25% EXP from Leaf Cat Hat (the EXP affects all mobs, not just Ayothaya ones). You take a bit more damage but it's well worth it. Unless you are a Champ in MS, in which case the Heal auto proc will keep you alive without any potions used majority of the time, if you have MATK gears..

I agree without DL card you wont be killing anything with this build.

Far from the truth ^_^

 

Meteors have a much more noticeable animation, but bolts do equally as much damage.

 

Or just use Bloody Knight card in the knife. /dum

I see people do this all the time. They take forever to kill their mob or wing mob training you in the process.

 

You might as well say strap on 2 megs and a mjolnir. Selling 1k wpe won't get you DL and the like.

minus DL card, this is the method i leveled my paladin, LK, mastersmith, biochem, champion, stalker. 'lazy' leveling at its best, coz spamming skill button and targetting is requiring too much work, while all you need is just pushing carrot button and wing.

You used to go by Illuminati Gaming, no? I recognize your logo. Anyway, it works, I'm sure. I'm gonna be an ^_^ here because I am one, hopefully you can take my criticism. When a player is already this rich, leveling any character is hardly any work how ever anyone does it. To whom are you telling to go get a dark lord card? Your guide is a bit moot, isn't it mate? I think there is a more value, ironically enough, in a guide that someone can do with zero z and no bud in-game.

scuba is illiterate gaming. also, i agree with most people here, if you want to highlight yourr usage of DL card, the thread should be named "how to have fast and fun leveling using Dark Lord card"

Yeah I used to post videos under Illiterate Gaming. Got tired of switching accounts mostly.

 

The guide still works if you substitute filir hat for ifrit mask. No need for DL.

 

When you trans you can use a valk mant to proc CD and use Ifrit too. DL is just a red herring excuse for not following the guide's advice.

 

All of that said, I tried the same thing on the same character without DL and it worked just about the same.

 

I know it is a minority of commenters, but it is really annoying when people nitpick details about a guide and dismiss it right away. Just because a certain piece of gear makes things faster doesn't mean its required. With or without Dark Lord the process is the same. You might use more consumables, you might not kill as fast as the guy on the YouTubes, but  you can still do the same activities to get the same results. All you do is walk around and take damage. Not that hard of a concept. You won't always get KS'd. More than likely you will complete your kill count faster than partying no matter if you have DL or not.

Because it's FACT. I'm sick of people trying to reflect kill. They sit there forever holding the mobs, then proceed to teleport and mob train you.

 

This only works for LOW level based monsters.

 

Don't posts guides unless you're up for criticism. (Hint) reword your guide.

Reflect leveling is actually quite fun. I leveled my full support High Priest that way for a change than being enslaved by others to buff/ heal!

No one can bloody read anymore. I said it's fine for low levels, do not bother with higher levels.

I never thought of reflect leveling with anything else than a monk on MS or a Pali.

 

Ifrit mask was good enough, I might try again one day.

 

Holding a mob for a few seconds is no different than a mob getting stuck in a corner and no one reaching it for a while and the map 

 

Also gramps maps are for EVERYONE no just for high speed leveling players.
