Hello Roserians!

 

You know who likes music? Pirates like music! From Classical to Metal Rock, pirates sing their way across the sea of all of ROSE Online! Help them get decked out for their merry melodies with pirate costumes that match your favorite music style! The theme is Punk Rock Pirates, but the costume designs can go with any musical taste your ROSE characters would prefer! 

 

July Theme: Punk Rock Pirates!

 

Submissions
Entries can be hand drawn, created with a tablet and image editing software, or 3-D models.  Make sure to include any colors that you concept for your costume design if its an original design. Costume designs should include both a male and female version. Make sure to also include the name of your costume and include your in game name with your entry. 
 
Costume designs must be the creation of the players submitting the entry. They should also match the current monthly theme. While a design may be inspired by others artwork, costumes that are not the creation of the players submitting the entry or have only been slightly modified off another artists designs will be disqualified.  * 
 
* In addition to the normal costume designs, we will be accepting stand alone back costume designs. Back item designs, such as angelic wings or jet packs, should also fit the monthly theme, but are not required to be part of an entire costume.
 
Results
 
This contest will run from 7/12/2016 – 08/02/2016. The ROSE Team will pick the winning costume to be created in game and the winners will be announced the following week.
 
Prize
 
The player who submits the costume that is chosen will not only receive that costume in game once it is created, but will be given 1000 IM Points! Winners also are able to choose if they would like their name to appear on the costume description to be immortalized forever for their concept in game. If you wish for your name to be on the costume description, we will request that you let us know in a pm once the contest is complete and the winners have been announced.
 
*If you have an idea for a future theme you would like to see implemented, just send me a PM and let me know! In addition, costume designs that do not fit this theme are welcome in this section as well, all costume designs are looked at by the ROSE Team for consideration to be used for future designs.

I think it's really unfair if you made an effort to design then there's someone who won whom just modified some of the features, it's like a stolen concept

Winged design concepts are not uncommon, and in the case of all winged design concepts in the Magical School Costume Contest, there was a sufficient enough difference in design and conceptualization that they would not be seen as a modification to either design. 

 

Additionally, if you believe a user has modified your design during a contest of this kind, please send me a PM once you see it. Calling out players in forum posts is against the forum policy.

This theme was a bit difficult, and tried my hardest to make it fit the theme.

Head on Left is for Male and right is for female the hairstyle is included as a part of the headgear as a whole.. not much visual difference on other parts (just like captain zack costume) but maybe boots with heels for female if GM's can make it for me otherwise im good with this ^_^, and also the blade(backshield) should be placed on the side like the blade in the body of ronin sets.. if that's possible ^_^

You can't win [I'm sure] if you don't actually do some kind of work on it. Liking a google image and slapping some text doesn't really count. This goes for a few people here.

Hey guys, images that are not the original work of the participant will not count towards this event. You can create your own design and link to inspirations if you want, giving credit to the original artist, but the design has to be your own.

i did some color editing though and edited and matched some items like back shield and headgear which i put effort to not just saving  image and posting it , like feuer said.. put work into it not just saving and giving a title to the costume

I just copy and past images from google to make the set"

 

The costume comes in 4 or 5 pieces. (I also made a backpack for fun, and could be used for the set if wanted)

• Hat(Feather only for female)
• Body (with pants ofcourse, and the spiked shoulder for the male version)
• Boots ( Possibly the same boots for both genders if so add skull to boots like male version)
• Spikey bracelets which are the gloves ( Only one for female gender and two for male gender )
• And the backpack... (Optional)

On a small side note, It might be possible to add the eyepatch as part of the costume for both genders, however i don't feel this is very nessesary since there are already a ton of different eyepatches people could use.
