Umm, maybe you should be a Commander instead? And also be patient until lvl 74 for Adamant Mind immunities... Just a thought... :P

A party Dot Remover be nice. Or make the Radiant one Party mb be better.
A resist buf mb? Thinking firstly of LW here and other bosses. But also help PvP. Run about trying facestrike just a lil safer.

Either those wouldnt ruin the class as being a support class and make it that much better pvp. Mb with resist buff prot cap in BG's easier from tanking damage.

Kim

Edit.
As for Anti Stun, Fear etc im ok not haveing. Fear mobs break pretty fast. Stun shouldnt matter either as you have radies on Raids. Class isnt made for PvP ... JC mb?

Your a tank not a PvP character. Your role is to tank mobs in PvE and to tank bosses. Adamant mind would not help on bosses anyway as their stun/slow/fear skills bypass Adamant.

I could see a resist buff as resist does reduce the damage of some boss skills.

Restraint Recission slow remove is PvP only!

PvE please <.< Would be nice to have it PvE only, and a 25ish sec downtime, with mebbe 5 or 10 secs of slow immune after cast (otherwise mobs like WS / JS ones would just recast instantly)

Also a Dura Amulet style HP buff would be nice.

The self-target hp buff I agree with. As hard as they make the bosses hit this is a useful skill for the true tank of the game. It is sad that another race/class has more base con than the tank class.

I say no to HP buff ><

Thats why you bring an elem or WL. Could run the risk of WL dieing out as it main reason they get invites for raids.

Only self HP buff for a tank should be Doomguard.
I would rather have DG be Boss tank and Prot be party tank.

And after playing both Druid is way more fun to tank as than prot.

WL wont die out because they have a PARTY buff that would be in addition to the self target buff the tank would get. This means even more HP and more safety. When bosses endgame hit near 15k with one shot more HP is always welcome.

hp buff for prot, yeah why not won't matter much in pvp anyways and always nice in pve

agree with leash at least move rush to defender skill tree and we might see some defender lvl 49 twinks and some pvp prots lolz

they should just change the hp regen buff to either % more when healed or % more hp/Con

s1 prots had a viable pvp hybrid build but that went away completely. not even worth bringing a 10k hp prot into any battlefield now.

I'd still want a WL and Elem! <3 them always :)

EDIT to add - if I wasn't borrowing Nin's old gear I would not be able to tank Ruinhorn (for example) on a Protector of the same level as the rest of the party - why should a prot have to be so many levels higher and need so much better gear than the DPS and healers? Standard answer I guess - more cash for Gravity. But ignoring this, it'd be nice to have an HP buff, even 1k or so (small compared to shammy/elem/WL) to make things a little more even.

But I'd agree Druid tanks are more fun, and that them being raid and Prots being party tanks would be a good idea. First Druid needs shorter cooldown on taunt, and either more aggro for it or a second one to back it up (that'd be a nightmare for skill points though).

However I'd prefer both Druid and Prot to both be able to do both raid and party equally well... why limit the use of each class?

I'd absolutely love to see a boss fight where a prot and a druid would have to work together somehow. Fat chance of it happening, but yea. It'd be nice.

they should just change the hp regen buff to either % more when healed or % more hp/Con

Agreed.
