Hey there, hopefully this is the right place to ask. 

 

Anyways, I'm a returning Shadow Chaser from like... before Renewal merged server happened. And all my friends are gone now, so I'm lookin' for some insight from the wider community. Thanks in advance!   

 

I have a 149/50 Chaser from back in the day (I thought I was cool for not being 150 back then), looking to move into WoE again. What is the popular way for a Chaser to get to 175 these days? I'm assuming Firing Trap and Severe Rainstorm aren't cutting it anymore. I tried levelling with Blaze Shield + PWave, but I suck HARD at it. Is resetting into STR and going HP leech + IB viable for an average geared Chaser?

 

I remember a Chaser friend of mine got to 175 through Bio4 parties where they would use Masq.'s, but apparently you can't now? Do Chasers have a role in parties at all now? I mean, they kinda never did but like... any improvements?

 

What is an average time-frame for 150-175. I've been on Classic mostly, and we can pop out 99 trans (read: max lvl) in a couple days easy, but idk if that's the same over here.

 

What do people use to cheap out on potions these days? My Rudolph Band doesn't work anymore, and my slims pot worse than water.

 

For WoE Set, should I go Noxious or Immune?

 

I haven't used a stat reset since 100 INT no longer gave you Freeze immunity. Is there a possibility of a free stat reset lying around somewhere for me?

 

And most importantly...

 

Does anyone wanna be my friend?   My Chaser's name is 'Azione', and Smokie is my only friend right now.

Hi and welcome back!

 

149/50 is a good starting point.  Due to Renewal mechanics and a nerf to SC skills (kinda legit I think, since Shado Chasers used to be superior to the original class they copied the skills from)

 

I'll try to help you regarding your query, but since my SC is still lv 100 take my advice with a grain of salt and wait for more veteran players' inputs.

 

In order to level past 150/50 you will need Bio Parties, what are they? I'll explain in case you still don't know:

 

We got this nifty addition called Bounty Boards (BB), basically hunting quests.  The Lighthalzen BB concerning Biolab mobs has become the sustitute for Gramps TI.  Players form parties in order to finish the kill counts (exp might or might not be shared), rinse and repeat.  Lighthalzen Biolabs has an increased mob spawn due to this.

 

Normally SC's role is to mob control via copied skills like Jack Frost or SG.  I think you can Masquerade a specific mob but I don't remember which one.

 

There's also Nightmare Clock Tower in Aldebaran for those that want to solo.  It also has Boards (in this case you hunt specifically the mob called Big Bell, the others aren't worth it)

 

I recommend you join a guild with leveling aid for their players as partying with randoms for Biolabs can have many negatives.

 

About the reset, you're in luck!  There's a NPC called Mesmerist at the Eden Group that will reset both stats and skills once (it gets reactivated during special events).  The reset is totally free, you just need to have 0 weight.
