Idk,
Helium said that he might do it for July 4th, but that never happened. So I really don't know.
But I sure as hell won't be making any gear until I see that 82%

There is a chance in the game that reinforcing an item with a 100% success rate during an event and 8% break rate could still fail the success and break.

So what, is Cleffy a GM? Don't think so. 

As I already said, I reinforced over 300 items at 100% with the x3 6% coupons, and no1 ever failed.

If there is a chance, it is insignificant.

In all my gamplay from 2009 no item on 100% got broken. There is only silly people who forget to add reinf success xeon and forget to look on percentage - thats how items get broken.

Through my prime times of playing, I literally lost count of how many items I have reinforced, never mind about the attempts. And yes, with "real" effort at +20-30% "events", not these farcical ones. Back then you had to be careful to the extreme, to put the correct xeons, and click and not rush and such ("fun" times... 1 x +10%, 1 x insurance, 1 x ample, rinse - repeat 50 times, there goes a salary and still could end up even without one +30 item with some real bad luck).

 

So, then as long as everything was correct, and there was the actual magick number "100% success" displayed, there was never a fail. Like... N E V E R. Period. And, yep, I have indeed screwed up royally at 99.6% myself. That's Korean maths for you, but at least their 100% is indeed 100%. The only "accidents" that ever happened, were probably due to some weird graphical glitch (very rare), or quite simply through lag / sudden freezes -> clicked thinking everything was there, while some xeon was in fact missing.

 

By the way ... +82% is truly rofl. Might as well set it at +100%, give free upgrades to everyone, and be done with it.
