Currently im lvl 126 once i get 160 im planning to do bakonawa instance. if i can solo this instance what should be my equipments be like? and what gun should i use?

I was just able to successfully solo him this week with 140 Rebel. Key is to max ASPD and Fire Resist.

 

Gears:

 

Top: Isabella Red Ear (would like Leib Olmai Card)

Mid: Heavenly Dark Flame (would like Leib Olmai carded mid)

Low: CD in Mouth

Armor: Lucius Fierce Armor of Volcano (uncarded), any fire element armor would do.

Weapon: Tempest with Lightning Bullets

Garment: Giant Faceworm Snake Skin with Jakk card (wanted to put card in something cheap, got one with AGI)

Boots: Enhanced Variants

Acc 1: Glorious Ring

Acc 2: Advanced Ring of Flame Lord

Pet: Tikbalang

 

Shadow can be whatever you have, Gold Dragonhelm costume is nice. Spellflow Set is nice for recasting your buffs when barraged with meteors, otherwise have a phen accessory hotkeyed.

 

Skills used: Heat Barrel, Gatling Fever, Eternal Chain, Rich's Coin, possibly Round Trip if his mob finds you.

 

Consumables used: Berserk Pot, Enriched Celermine Juice, Medium Life Potion, Siroma Ice Tea, Authoritative Badge, Fireproof Potions, Condensed White Potions (lots if your Fire Resist isn't good), Monster's Feed ('cause Tikbalang pet gets hungry really fast), HE Bubble Gum

 

Part one strategy: Pop Authoritative Badge and Fireproof Pot (authoritative badge gives you a buff icon so you know when Fireproof pot is close to running out, gotta keep that up) and get just close enough to Bako to put him on the screen. Buff up and attack until Heat Barrel is out. Make sure you have high hp when it runs out because you have 10 seconds where you can't use pots (not an issue if you can stack enough fire resist). If he's not dead, re-apply buffs and repeat until he's dead.

 

Part two strategy: Make sure Gatling Fever is de-activated so you can walk fast. Kill all the plant-type drums with auto-attacks. CD in Mouth rocks here. Keep your Fireproof pot active at all times!

 

Part three strategy: Same as part one, but you have to make sure you're in a spot where his mob will be off-screen when they pop in. I hide behind a bush off to his right and a little behind him (from default camera angle). Keep that Fireproof pot up! If one of his mobs happens to come onscreen, kill it ASAP with Round Trip, or if your Heat Barrel is almost expired, just move away until the cool-down is over and kill it after that.

 

Part four strategy: Pop an HE Bubble Gum and feel disappointed when Bako Spirit doesn't drop.

 

B> Leib Olmai card and any Leib Olmai carded mid. (30% Jakk + 20% accessories + 10% Red Ear + 20% Fireproof pot + these two cards = 100% fire resist)

 

EDIT: One more thing, it took about 2500 bullets for the whole thing. I will be bringing 4000 with me in the future just to be safe.

 

EDIT: ADVANCED Ring of Flame Lord (thanks to Normal People for pointing out my mistake) <--feels like an odd thing to say.
