I've tested this and apparently, the dialogue or the upgrading of the cracked buckler MUST NOT be stopped, the upgrade process should be continuous because once the upgrade is stopped or you did something to stop it, the instance of number of upgrades reverts back to 0.

for simple terms, let's say you upgraded a buckler to +5 and stopped there. When that fails you are going to get a medal instead of the ygg seed.

In another scenario, you upgraded a +0 buckler to +5 continuously and then the upgrade fails, that's when you'll get the ygg seed.

Same goes to other upgrade levels. Ultimately, even if you reach +10 on the buckler but you have not continuously upgraded it, the "count" of the upgrade will always reset, thus leaving you only to receive medals.

I know my explanation is kinda confusing. hope someone gets it HAHAHAHA

anyways, bottomline is don't stop the upgrade process, or if it stops, then just accept that you will not receive what you expect.

Yeah, i assumed that was the case when the npc didn't give my item. That's why i'm telling them what happened, so they can fix it. After all, just accepting will not solve the problem and, considering the server is really lagged and the dialogue might stop anytime and some people do not have a bunch of accounts with characters over 50 to do this quest over and over again (in fact, most people don't), i think this problem should be solved asap, bc they should at least get the equipment that matches their buckler.

Are you using upgrade npcs like Normalson or Suhnmi to upgrade that buckler? If so, it does not count and you are not suppose to use them after receiving it from the spooky machine. The machine's upgrading only counts.

Nope. Like obelisk explained, even if you only use the machine to upgrade the buckler, if the dialogue stops, you will "lose" the upgrades you had.

I wish they could include BOO cards on the drop list somewhere like a quest so we can get x2 enriched refine rates.

Is it just me, or do Agav's not give the appropriate xp count? All the other monsters give 12k-14k on my 130 ranger, but Agav's give like 7k experience (base).

It won't be fixed, because there is most likely no way to code it via the quest to prevent cheating using other methods.

Not just you, Agavs and Siromas don't give the correct exp and the spawn rate seems quite low in Rachel Sanctuary for a spotlight. Maybe the third time's the charm and they can finally get it right next maintenance?

Please GMs Could You check the Spawn of monster in rachel dungeons, please?. There doesnt seems applied the Spotlight correctly there. Spawn is pretty low for a spotlight. Thanks in advance.

Please, leave the last level unspotlighted. It would be terrible to hunt Gloom on a crowded map. That MVP is a pain already. XD
