What exactly happened with Gold Scaraba Cards?

 

They went down from 300m+ to 200m suddenly with many competitive vendors (they suddenly dropped the price even more when the others did)...

I think it was the same with Alice Cards before, the vendors automactically restock the cards to the same amount after 1 or 2 were bought... it's just suspicious

More than likely, some of them having been holding on to the cards for weeks, trying to sell high by having 1-2 in the shop at a time, many found during the drop event. I am creating equilibrium price, which should set within 2-4 weeks. It may actually be a bit higher than the lowest numbers there.

Just people trying to undercut one another. They're really just lowering their profit instead of raising it lol. Good for everyone, yes. But if you're a vender and you continously lower your price just to sell, you're pretty much screwed :v

Also because people depend on ragial too much is what's happening. They wana buy something so they vend it cheap for a bit, it shows up on ragial and pulls average down. Someone want to sell sees that average is lower and they think "Oh, if I want to sell this I gotta go average/lower than this guy selling it now".

well... i bought mines from a guy whos at the ame instant open a new vend after i boought... 
i'm seeing the sae ppl selling it... they have infinite gold scarabs... too much untrusted... but i dont care... i made boughts and pay.. that's not my fault...

If you don't sell, you're even more screwed.

 

On another note, it seems that the price for a lot of items has gone down. Some more than others, of course, but it looks like there's an increasing difficulty for selling the items. I also have the feeling that this effect repeats everytime after a long event period. If so, probably it's related to people spending most of their zeny in event related items and being low on it. Can't say for sure, though.

No, it is because they were trying to run shady business, by vending 1 at a time for a long time, perhaps selling once a week, while inventory continued to grow (business type inventory, not storage inventory). Most were likely found during the 4-5 weeks of 50% higher drops.

If you have to choose between KBC and Gold Scaraba, what will you put in two RWC Pendants? Will the future accessory card that give 1% atk be better than Gold Scaraba?

I have a vague memory of KBC and KK being vended when the limit was still 99m. KBC was 30m I think? Though I can't remember what year and whether I was still in Valk or already moved to Ymir. I regret not buying KBC then. Now I'm playing iRO again, I really want a couple of it.

1% most likely would not beat 20 attack on most characters, if they buffed it to 2-3% it would.

It's hard to say it's dupped. People who can farm Gold Scaraba cards can farm a lot. When we had new world spot light I farmed 1 card per 30 minutes or so.

I opened 100 OCA's and got two KK cards. there were none on the market at that time. a day later there were like nine on the market.

 

Maybe just coincidence, or maybe there is something in RO's algorithm that makes cards show up in batches. Kind like how it is not uncommon at all to get two of the same cards from an oca in a row.

Boyeteers meant in real life, you have to sit on your toilet, with laptop in your naked lap, clicking with the finger of one hand, with your eyes closed due to luck (constipation).
